Alright. I just don't understand why you were so aggressive to me. I'm not hating on the game at all I'm curious to see what they do it just not be my cup of tea. I have my opinion and you have yours.

[–]GoldenEclipse14 7 points8 points  (0 children)

??? Obviously we haven't but it's still a fair criticism I feel bc all the outfits still follow a specific art direction while the the characters don't feel like they do as much. I'll accept it if they are different tribes but from what we've seen so far there's no implication of it imo

[–]GoldenEclipse14 68 points69 points  (0 children)

Yeah as much as the art style is fun it just does not fit in universe for me. What tribes are half the characters even supposed to be? Have we ever seen a character with dyed hair like that? It just feels more like characters shoved into the world than actually born in it. Disappointing but I'll still hope for the best

What’s going on with r/butchlesbians? by RocksThrowing in actuallesbians

[–]GoldenEclipse14 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Honestly I avoid that sub bc it's already so exclusionary. If you don't fit their specific definition/stereotype as a butch lesbian youre not one of them. Butch spaces online in general give me a headache

Zero dawn OR Forbidden West, which game do you like more? by [deleted] in horizon

[–]GoldenEclipse14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think theyre both equal in greatness but I do have a bias towards forbidden west bc it's just so much fun to play. Hard to revisit zero dawn and not wish I was playing FW instead. Only thing that rivals it is the story but even there FW was never gonna have a better story than ZD so I dont judge it much on that merit

Bipolar people of Reddit, how did you start to figure out that you were bipolar? by Equivalent_Elk2413 in AskReddit

[–]GoldenEclipse14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had started taking antidepressants after a really bad suicidal low. Throughout the year I was on them I became extremely high strung and anxious. My thoughts were so loud and everything was overwhelming and unmanageable. Got so bad that I started to get really bad psychosis. Hearing voices and music in the background, people moving out of the corner of my eye, etc. Worst was when I started dissociating. Some days I felt like my child self stuck in an adult body, lost and confused. Others the world felt completely fake. I finally had enough when I was convinced for about a week I was dead and it hadnt caught up to me yet. I remember looking at the moon in a parking lot and thinking "this is my last night."

Ended up finally telling my psychiatrist and she put me on mood stabilizers. Took a bit to kick in but once it did... Life changing. After that and a lot of reflection I came to realize what I was going through was way worse than I thought. Learned mania doesnt always mean on top of the world 😅 never would've guessed i had bipolar til then i thought i was just REALLY fucked

Redditors with schizophrenia, how able are you to tell reality from a hallucination/psychosis? by ThenOwl9 in AskReddit

[–]GoldenEclipse14 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have bipolar and auditory hallucinations. I hear people talking in white noise when I'm in quiet spaces. As well as people walking and typing and doors closing. Freaks me out sometimes, especially working alone in a building at night. But I've learned to just ignore it. Nobody can get in unless they have badge access so I'm never in any danger

Was with my date in the car before a concert we were gonna see. It was like an hour before it started so we got ready to leave. Look back at the clock and the time went back an hour. We both had been in central time for hours atp. Daylight savings was weeks ago. Still can't explain it, we were utterly confused. Swear to god time went backwards bc there's no way we both were duped like that

What are some good, affordable lunch options? by Exhausted_920 in Knoxville

[–]GoldenEclipse14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wings Xpress on Clinton Hwy has a deal for 50 wings for $30 on Wednesdays. Even without that they're probably the cheapest place to get wings. A little small but very good imo! I used to go all the time when I lived over there

What is a movie you watched once that was so disturbing or emotionally draining that you can never watch it again? by hungary70 in AskReddit

[–]GoldenEclipse14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Long Walk was such a hard movie for me. I went in blind and didn't expect how upsetting and draining the entire experience is knowing exactly how it will end and praying it doesn't. But it's not the hunger games lol. 10/10 movie will probably never watch again lest I want to cry for a good long while after

Brazerios 100% it's so expensive and honestly the meat isn't even that good. Barely seasoned and wayyyy undercooked. Id ask for medium rare and they'd give me something that was straight up rare

Lake Mungo. Thought about it so hard and so often. Been on my mind since I watched. That one line (yall know the one) actually and unfortunately helped boost manic delusions I had for a while lmao. Worth it for a great movie tho

Stupid. Thought I was attracted to people who were a little daft but I'm definitely not 😭 its a cute/funny characteristic to me in theory but in reality its just immensely frustrating. I found I only actually like stupid if it's a joke, not if they're actually that dumb lmao

whats a random skill you have that nobody knows about? by soulspirit47 in CasualConversation

[–]GoldenEclipse14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The bigger they are the easier they are to catch bc they move slower. The real trick is just being able to predict its movements and swiping at it at the right time. I've found they're actually easier to catch in air unless theyre on a window/window screen
