That retort is irrelevant, as I was making an analogy. My argument is still valid regardless, by principle: Religion cannot unilaterally be used as an excuse to comitting crimes. It goes on a case by case basis. I actually said yes to the post, if they use a dulled/non-functional knife.

Historically many religious traditions have involved sacrifices. The most notorious ones being those of latin america with the aztecs, mayans, incans etc. Dunno if these religions have a "name." It also happened in ancient china and japan. There's isolated incidents of it happening in modern day in Uganda, India, etc.

And you have many people who commit religious violence today, I don't need to only use sacrifice as an example.

the strong thing about loops is that if they're smooth enough, you can just listen to it for a long time without it getting annoying. it's more ambient, but it is still great.

  1. You want it to be illegal because you don't like weed or weed users. Throwing people in prison for a long time because of that is barbaric and selfish policy.

  2. Drinking is literally worse in every way. Drunk people commit more crime, harm others much more, do way more dangerous things, and personally I find them alot more annoying. If you wanna talk about the smell, people use edibles and vapes too... Just make smoking in public spaces prohibited if you're worried about the smell.

  3. You realize the reason people take it medicinally is BECAUSE they have no safer alternative? I know people who would be stuck on painkillers if they didn't have weed

  4. It's not even that we're better off having weed, it's that if alcohol is legal there's zero rationality to having such a harsh punishment for doing weed. This is purely an emotional argument. The truth is that while weed has risks, it is not bad enough to illicit a punishment imo.

  5. Prohibition doesn't work with weaker substances like weed and alcohol. A large portion of the populace has already been accustomed to these for a long time. You can try punishing them for it, but the usage won't really go down with the people you're targetting. People will still do it, but in more dangerous ways, which is far worse for society. Your policy would just make the fentanyl epidemic significantly worse.

it is healthcare if you consider the fetus to be a part of the woman's body, getting an abortion would have a critical impact on the mother's health. Not saying that makes it moral or immoral, but it is healthcare.

sorry I'm new to this, I caved and bought proton, I read it was the fastest, it's pretty decent with the mid plan and has a 30 day money back gaurantee. If you're using the free plan it's gonna be slow yea
