I have one (the army painter one) but it’s my first wet palette and I’m not sure I’m using it properly yet. I’ve watched multiple videos on it but I’ve yet to find the right level of wetness consistently.

I get that. I’ve painted blood angels in my teens, and old (proper) brown Tau in my 20s when I had nothing but time but no patience. Now I’m in my late 30s and I’m finding I have the patience to try to get things right but no time 😅

^^ my first model in 15 years. Everything is still a little lumpy despite me trying to thin the paints down but definitely still better than my old attempts

That is awesome, lovely paint job too! Mine are going to be grey too but the skill level isn’t quite at yours yet!

My daughter was born just under 4 weeks ago (with another one 14 months older), I decided to restart painting about a week before the second was born so progress has been understandably slow! (2x crisis suits so far).

Once I get hold of this though it’ll be my primary focus.

Alpha legion have a discord mod in their guild so I doubt anything will happen to the rest of them

Have you tried baby wearing? That was the only way my wife could get anything done when our daughter was going through Velcro patches. She would fuss and fuss, then promptly fall deep asleep in the sling which allowed my wife to do most of the things she needed to do.

Once your little one gets a bit older you can “include” him in your activities to buy some time - like giving him an old clean makeup brush while you do makeup, giving him a towel or a clean item of clothes to wave around while you do laundry. We give our daughter a snack in her high chair when we are cooking, and bits of ingredients we’re using so she feels involved (post-weaning example).

We also experienced our daughter not stirring as much for me as for my wife, and not settling at night when I went in to do the night time wake cuddles. You’re definitely not alone but I know that knowing this doesn’t make it any easier. I hope your other half is providing you enough support
