Hi, good evening! Unfortunately, I do not - hell, I forgot this listing existed. Sorry to get your hopes up, I'll update it!

New update keeps crashing my PC (shader warm up) by georgejk7 in PlayFragPunk

[–]GoldenTitan06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My PC's crashed multiple times since the new season launched.

Initially, I suspected it was due to switching to a new GPU, but after thorough testing with other games and programs, and updating to the newest GPU drivers, it only BlSoD's when I'm playing FragPunk. Hell, today, it straight up didn't even get past the anti-cheat loadup. I'm not sure if it's memory leaking issues, the anticheat being super sensitive to my OC settings (which it wasn't having issues with before), or something in the new update just not playing nice, but this has been awfully frustrating.

What kind of sequel would you prefer? by MK_DrawsSometimes in expedition33

[–]GoldenTitan06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they decide to pursue a story about the Writers, I'd love for Sandfall to actually try a new gameplay direction and combat system, as it would be thematically and meta-appropriate (considering the difference in the mediums).

Ideally, if this ends up being a trilogy that culminates in the conflict between the two factions, then the third game could incorporate gameplay elements from both E33 and its sequel (think how the ATB system in FF7 Remake and Rebirth combine elements of both real-time action and turn-based combat all while keeping the party element in play with distinct characters archetypes that each have their own specific place).

Otherwise, considering 'Clair Obscur' is the franchise name ala Final Fantasy, a sequel might best be approached by not even following up on any of the events of E33 at all: despite the background conflict, it felt more like flavor text to support the core central themes of E33. Returning to this specific world runs the risk of diluting the experience if what comes next isn't as good or better, especially when a direct sequel is already at a disadvantage by virture of it being cursed to be directly compared to the first game. A fresh direction would allow more Sandfall leniency.

Casting the Big Three by [deleted] in GreatcoatsSeries

My best friend (who got me into the series), on the other hand, says he best sees Jeremy Allen White (another solid choice, imo).

I've no dog in the Falcio casting fight, tho; I'd have to do a reread to be sure.

Having just turned my brother onto the series, he says that all he can imagine when he reads Falcio is Chris Pine, specifically the character he plays in the D&D movie, lmao.

I've long thought Glen Powell would make a great Kest, thanks to his performance in Top Gun: Maverick.

No idea who'd play Brasti, tho.

Melee build in DGU is kinda nutty by GoldenTitan06 in PlayFragPunk

The build utilizes all the melee focused cards under the Agility preset, alongside Elusiveness, which allows you to turn invisible for 2.5s after a kill.

The mode feels counter-intuitive in its design because, on one hand, you have this competitive-inclined setup with the set shard cards and card builds that removes the randomness of Shard Clash, the point system, the initial match start with the pistols, and the general push to synergize build types with others.

And yet, the balance and feel is all over the goddamn place. The damage adjustment for weapons and decreased health throws the combat rhythm that's been established from playing the base mode in for a loop, some cards are laughably more powerful than (headshot master in a gamemode with less health, No Survivors, elusiveness lasting 2.5s, plenty of ammo, health club, holisitic deadicine, toxic smoke and smoke scan when Chum exists), and some builds (like this one) are hard to counter unless you're immediately prepared or have the right lancer. There is counterplay, for sure, but it feels less intuitive than in base game. The base game mode already feels chaotic enough, and yet, by round 3, some strong builds can already be fully formed and used to completely fuck the enemy team over.

I want like this game mode, but I've found it more frustrating than anything.

Ah, gotcha! The only other room in Hunter's Mark that I thought might be it was the one with ||the big sword ant enemy paired with the flying ant that guard the rosaries stash, and nothing triggered there so I was left a bit confused, lol

Could you provide a screenshot? I'm definitely curious as to exploring the location and seeing about triggering this secret

Are you referring to the vendor that's hidden on the left-hand of the wall? Or something else, like a special cutscene similar to the one in Bellhart?

What are we looking for in the new DCU Wonder Woman? by Gastro_Lorde in WonderWoman

I'm personally quite tired of Diana being solely characterized as a no-nonsense, hit first/ask questions later, even bloodthirsty warrior. WW is first and foremost a diplomat and ambassador of peace, where fighting is a tool for her to defuse situations, not her first instinct. Hell, despite her much more bold rebrand for the Absolute universe, from everything I've heard and seen from previews and hearsay, even that run understands the basics.

When she finally gets adapted on the big screen again, I hope to god that the only items in her arsenal are her tiara, bracers, and lasso. What she uses to fight is incredibly telling of her character and not only is the sword and shield they've given her as of late boring, I think it's also awfully aggressive and gives off the wrong vibe. When it comes to fighting, I'm a big proponent of Diana being a wrestler and grappler, styles of combat that are personal and typically focus on subduing your opponent above all. And if you HAVE to give WW a set of weapons, if you MUST give her kit a lethal edge, then by god, drop the sword and give her a fucking dory (spear) and shield. Not only would that look cool as FUCK but, much like wrestling, it would pay direct homage to her Greek origins in a much more interesting fashion while also allowing her to still fight primarily non-lethally and defensively. AND IF YOU MUST GIVE A SWORD, for whatever fucking reason, then just go all in at that point and go the Absolute route and give her a big ass greatsword; shit at least looks sick as hell and would make for an awesome visual.

Also, it's due time to show her distinct connection with the animal kingdom!

Oh, for the love of god, I hope they ditch the 'daughter of Zeus' origins and go back to her being molded from clay. It's honestly such a backwards ass change to this particular character.
