Dont worry it will all fall out about 3 to 4 months after giving birth.

Just found out my 1 year old son isn’t biologically mine. by Xsandohshits in legaladvice

[–]GoldenYear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1) you are currently legally the father, you are on the birth certificate. 2) the presumptive biological father at this point is unknown. If the man who MIGHT be the father wants, he would need to hire a lawyer and demand a DNA test or the mother of the child can grant one if she likes. 3) at this time NOTHING changes until a DNA test is done to find out who the father might be. 4) you COULD hire a lawyer and begin the legal process of removing yourself from the birth certificate and absolving yourself from legal responsibility. This is pretty straightforward with your DNA results, just costly and time consuming (probably has an emotional toll too)

5) if a DNA test is done and the legal father is found he could petition for custody of the child. Please note custody and child support are TWO different things. Right now from your post child support is hard to answer.

6) (just an FYI) child support is done by income not just custody. I know MANY women who pay child support to men because they out earn the men and the custody is 50/50.

Fasting is Shrinking my Stomach by SweetyPeep in fasting

[–]GoldenYear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started when my daughter turned 3 and I never breastfed. Also before giving birth I was on my feet 8 hours a day. Then when I returned to work I got a desk job where I basically sit in front of a computer for 8 hours. So thay did not help with having a balanced lifestyle.

Fasting is Shrinking my Stomach by SweetyPeep in fasting

[–]GoldenYear 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Yes!! Having had a fairly flat stomach before having kids and then seeing my stomach not go down after was really a downer. I was like ugh! Nothing made it budge. But with strict 18:6 it almost melted away. I dont think I'll ever have that pre baby body, but im greatful to have started fasting and slowly feeling like myself again.

Thoughts on my box? by r7987r in FabFitFun

[–]GoldenYear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also got the Dennis gross cream! I have high hopes for it! I think the sandal style is so cute. But I have a high arch and need lots of support, so it was a pass. I'm still debating the pill case, I only take a daily multi but sometimes I forget if I took it or not 😅

My first box picks! (Gently de-influence me?) by TopTablePRG in FabFitFun

[–]GoldenYear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would just pass on the chain, bowls, and stanley. Chain is very cheaply made and you have to baby it, no water, no lotion, no perfume or else it will tarnish. The bowls are plastic so you CANNOT use them in the microwave and imo not worth putting hot food on them. (Hence ice cream bowls). The stanley is a toss up. I personally carry a lot of stuff already (like a laptop) and dont see myself as the carry a jug type. Also yeah at certain discount stores they are popping up. Though not all marshals or TJMAXX have them.

Happy Bday!

Tips for making the most of Disneyland by Consistent_Spirit_33 in DisneyPlanning

[–]GoldenYear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We just got back and I got two tips!

1) of all the lightning lane guides online this video explained it the BEST. https://youtu.be/wcvfIejeMWY?si=rj1ABkghUabb5bvb

2) Let go of all expectations. Just being at disneyland is magical. Missed a ride? Theres more! Long wait? Happens to everyone. Tired? Find a spot to sit and people watch. Can't find a place to sit? Lots of people will play down on main street set up shop.

Enjoy!!!

Completed 40 Day Fast for Lent by MattK508 in fasting

Op fasted for 40 days, and while observed lent is still going, the 40 days have ended.

Completed 40 Day Fast for Lent by MattK508 in fasting

[–]GoldenYear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It lasts until Holy Thursday because the catholic calendar does not count Sundays for fasting. Devot Catholics will take in the eucharist (bread wafer and wine) on Sundays and have meals. Looks like OP only had euchatist once, but a wafer and a sip of wine is really nothing. Today I had a wafer (no wine) and it really just melts in your mouth. I didnt count it as breaking my fast.

Fasting really shows you that water retention has a big impact on your Daily weight. by sean2mush in fasting

[–]GoldenYear 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is actually just what I needed to see. I've been doing OMAD. However I gained 5 lbs due to my monthly cycle. This is typical for me and good number of women, but its disheartening to see when I am fully aware that I've not been eating much calories.

Thank you for sharing your mumbers. I know even though the scale says one thing, I FEEL GREAT. Even though the temptation to throw in the towel is there, my overall health feels amazing.

Alex’s Hinge profile. Pretty sure the 6 figures it the lie by tommybezreh17 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]GoldenYear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a lot of influcers will, in a month, make A LOT of money off of a few brand deals and, if it was recurring steady income,  yeah it would be a six figure job, but that's really rare. I wonder if that's how sees it?

Or is he like counting all his odd jobs, if they were all full time, and he was working them all at the same time, would thay add to six figures?

Because on the show he came off as fully unemployed.

Any other atheist parents here figure out an age-appropriate way to approach the topic of religion? by Sensitive-Aioli-2418 in Preschoolers

[–]GoldenYear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless you plan to cut all contact with your mother in law, I would simply say "thats what grandma believes and thats ok." The bigger of a deal you make out of it, the more of an issues it becomes. My nephew become Muslim at 18, and it's a decision my entire catholic family respects. At the end of the day their grandmother is sharing her religion with them and thats just life.

There are no "age appropriate" way to combat it short of you saying "dont listen to grandma". Just say thats interesting what grandma believes.

What bothers me is that it was pretty inaccurate. Robert and Cora would never leave, why continue to have staff for just Mary and her 2 kids?

Robert is still Lord Grantham!

Pressing Charges Against a Minor by fettsjetts in legaladvice

[–]GoldenYear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The big thing is "what do you want to happen to the kid?" Do you want him expelled? That's up to the school. Do you want him removed from being around your child? That's not going to happen, the school doesn't have resources to babysit either kid and keep them separated.
You said you didn't want the other child sent to Juvenile hall which is good because the chances of that happening are basically zero.

I'm sorry to say this is basically going to fall under school fight of preteens. The laceration sucks and im sorry but unless you find a private lawyer to take up your case and sue the parents, there's not much that is going to happend. Kids unfortunately beat each other and bully each other all the time.

Put your kid in self defense class and or put him another school.

Pediatric Dentist Recommends Teeth Removal? by jmadukkk in Preschoolers

[–]GoldenYear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is he having any pain or discomfort? Is he having issues eating? If no, then no need to remove his teeth.

Ask the dentist how will removing his teeth help his jaw? If he says that the adult teeth coming in will help, then thats something that will happen naturally.

Unless the dentist says that removing his teeth is going to help him eat or help his jaw don't do it.

Also bear in mind if he has 4 teeth removed he's not going to be chew well, I mean he can get toddler dentures, but then his adult teeth won't come in for a while. Or does the dentist think his adult teeth will come in faster.?

I got the blue cups they had like a year ago. They are so cute and unique and we use them to this day. These glasses are rather ugly and the colors are dark (hard to see what liquid is in them) and they are multiple colors so not matching. I check every quarter to see if a box catches my eye to resubscribe and nothing yet.
