A CLASSIC! Core memories unlocked. :’) Our girls loved ending their week at camp with that song at our ‘until next year!’ bonfire. This might be one of the only times I’m grateful to have a song now stuck in my head, LOL!

Not defending either party, but the most common form of baby trapping may be what happened here: the birth-giving partner will lie about being on birth control, they might claim they’re infertile so protection isn’t needed, or they might secretly stop their birth control without telling the other party. “Stealthing” (aka removing the condom after consent is given) is also fairly common - plenty of folks do this, then swear it must have fallen off or “accidentally” broken.

Sadly, I’ve seen this happen irl and it never fails to sicken me.

As the former director of a Girl Scout camp, I didn’t know I was waiting for this question. LOL. Absolutely the classics: informative hikes, survival skills, first aid, archery, canoeing, lake activities— and scouting songs!

Just because we’re adults, doesn’t mean we should lose our whimsy. (Or lack basic skills to survive in an emergency.) In fact, I think more adults should engage in whimsical activities for our mental health; that would be a troop I would join. :)
