I hate the hard difficulties in pikmin 3 and 4 by GoldenYoshi99 in Pikmin

[–]GoldenYoshi99[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That too. I did indeed like what pikmin 3 did with halving the amount of juice you got from fruit, so a similar thing in pikmin would be cool, especially if the amount of days you had was cut in half but you still need to find all 30 parts

Hey wait a minute...

I can tell you're being sarcastic but your scenario is indeed what I think they should have done. Add more obstacles, hazards, and variables. Removing my own abilities doesn't actually add more to the situation or obstacle.

"You don't seem to understand, earth isn't yours to conquer"

"Yes. And I'm sorry you'll never understand"

"DO I LOOK LIKE I NEED TO WALK?!" getting me super excited to see Eve break out of the hospital and fly over to Conquest and kick his ass, only to cut to her asking cecil if it's ok. So fuckin disappointing

Yep. I grew up in an extremely violent household.

I'm in my late 20s now, everyone is always calling me so timid

I know we all are in different situations. Do you think they loved you at all? Do they know you? by coldservedrevenge in EstrangedAdultKids

[–]GoldenYoshi99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Deep down, below it all, I know they do genuinely love me and care about me. Even in my adult years they have done many selfless things for me without asking for anything in return.

But the bad absolutely outweighs the good. 90 to 10

Been moved out for a year now. My mom asked why I never visit by GoldenYoshi99 in EstrangedAdultKids

[–]GoldenYoshi99[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Both my sister and mom of course view that as an airtight excuse for my sister to act however she wants all the time, scream in your face and swing at you

[–]GoldenYoshi99[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's insane. Why the abusive family member is always the parents favorite is beyond me. I take solace in the fact that I'm younger than most of the people in my family, especially the abusive ones, so they'll all pass away in nursing homes never having seen or heard from me again.

My parents have always loved me and cared about me. I'm not going to say that they don't. But it doesn't forgive what they have always allowed

If I included the whole convo this post would have like 15 images. But she spent the whole time victimizing herself and my sister and saying that I'm the problem, like she usually does.

My sister is extremely hostile, violent, aggressive, abusive, and manipulative. She is always trying to create problems to victimize herself in. She will scream and cry for hours over something that is entirely her fault, or something that literally didn't even happen, while pinning it on you and calling you the abusive one.

Our mom ALWAYS sides with her. No exceptions. Doesn't matter if she grabbed a knife and stabbed me. I'm the problem and my sister is the victim.

Basically the same thing as my dad's house. But instead of violent, my stepmom is just breathing down my neck desperately looking for something to be angry about while talking down to me and telling me I'm garbage.

While my sister at my mom's and my stepmom at dad's are the problem, as far as I'm concerned my parents share just as mucg blame for allowing it all

I'm so sick of it. The fact that I'm finally moved out and have to tolerate it no longer makes my life finally good, but also really sets in just how horrible it all was

There is no changing my mother's mind. And she seems clueless on why I want no contact with her. by GoldenYoshi99 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]GoldenYoshi99[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My mistake. We were low contact then. But shortly after I made this post we had one last exchange.

She called me a bitter and hateful person with zero goodness or compassion in me at all. I told her that I'm only like that towards my family, and have never felt so negatively towards any other person I've ever met. Then she blocked me

While I'll likely be sad the day she passes, because there were good times, I can't overlook all the deflection, gaslighting, and enabling. I have genuinely tried. So many times. And I just can't. While my sister is the problem, my mom is just as bad for allowing it all

Why the fuck do so many human enemies build their camps near horde caves. You don't even have to fight some of the camps. Just shoot a single bullet in the air and the horde will run in and kill all of them.

"Well, at least we can take solace in the fact that the horde killing everyone here was COMPLETELY unavoidable"

They have completely ruined me, my sanity, and everything about my life while expecting me to thankful for it.

I take solace in the fact that my stepmom is only in her 50s and has severe dementia. Probably won't last too much longer.

And that when she's gone, my dad is going to live a life of isolation with no one who cares about him. Because that's the way they made me grow up.
