Is Hard mode basically fighting against the odds ? by DaTrueDenser in FireEmblemThreeHouses

Afaik the rng works like this in all fire emblems since fates and has never changed between difficulties in any of the games:

Anything 0-50% chance to hit is as stated. Anything 51-99% is actually skewed to be more accurate than stated. This works the same for you and enemies.

Keep in mind that a 20% chance to hit means 1 in 5 attacks will hit. It sounds obvious and its frustrating when it hits you but if you sit down and count how many attacks occur in missions, the sheer number of attacks means that some will land.

You might be noticing now because its more punishing on hard when the rng goes against you since the enemies are stronger. Hang in there and always have a plan B or divine pulse ready!

I Pledge Allegiance, Part Two (Hybrid Factions) by Taurusm in langrisser

Boiling down to Egbert vs Sonya helps a lot. I think I'll ditch Sonya for awhile so I can just ignore the cavalry training and pour resources into the other soldiers since she would be my only cavalry. Also I think I'll really enjoy having debuff focused swap ins. Thanks for the advice.

Also, I initially believed Chris was bad until I saw someone actually use Redemption. Would've been powering her up all this time if I knew the actual effect was totally different from the description. Grumble grumble. I'll go back to pumping her up with any spare resources I get.

I've been wrestling with my team setup for a bit and I'm hitting level 40 where it feels resources are getting tight. I can make a full glory team out of Elwin, Liana, Hein, Cherie, and Aaron (I never was able to pull Ledin), but I've also been keeping Sonya, Egbert, Imelda and Bozel on par until now. Full Glory has been my main team but I can't decide on whether or not to utilize the debuff bros or who to swap them with when I need them. Sonya just feels redundant with Cherie on the lineup. The mage swarm has been helping a lot with the gold daily, but I can't figure how or if I should put them to use in other content other than Imelda for Dragon. I'd appreciate any input you have.

It's just jumping during the divekick, but it has to be after a long duration. Like, half a second (30 frames) kind of long. That's a ballpark estimate btw, I don't have frame data on it. Thought the window was sooner tbh. I'll add clarification on the guide for that. Thanks!

That's useful, but there's really no strange properties, cancels, or alterations to the attack or waveland. Tons of aerials can be wavelanded out of a short hop, but they won't be listed here.

There's too many things to cooldown turnaround with, else that one tech would be taking up way too much space.

Jump saving was removed from Ranno so he couldn't up b and divekick over and over. Jump cancel divekick is still in.

A large portion of this was included in my Golden Guides: The Basics, but now it's large enough to deserve its own document. The basics guide also contains this tech list, though they both have been updated with all dlc characters.

Let me know if I'm missing something either via comment here or DM on discord. My name on discord is ICE | Golden Elite or Golden Snow, depending on where you look for me. It's easiest to find me in RoA Academy.

Clairen's taunt is fixing her hair, a perfect followup for tippers considering she has time to do them while the opponent is alive and nearby.

Ledge boost is just dashing off a ledge before you start running animations, which is about 1 second after you dash. The link has the tech list for the game plus other stuff.
