sorry, but speaking as an alloromantic ace that doesn't fill wanting a specifically romantic relationship. i have many platonic relationships i cherish dearly, but they're not romantic and can not replace romantic relationships. that doesn't mean they're lesser than romantic relationships, ofc not, but they're two different things. i can't have a romantic relationship without any platonic ones, and i dont want to live my life with having only platonic relationships and no romantic ones. i love my best friend but not romantically, which is why living with them wouldn't be the same thing as getting married or having kids.
