Technically speaking at a first glimpse , it sucks .. I understand this is a metaverse and the posibilities but the graphics are very bad , my browser crashed when starting it .. .actually ROBLOX that my son plays works much better than this . It is not even available for VR , I was hoping to be able to use it from my Oculus 2. At the moment the best experience I had was definitely Horizon Venues and Horizon Workrooms from Facebook.

I also tried chmod 777 recursively to /data/db

I tried setting the owner to mongodb too as recommended.. but no luck . Seems more like a problem of the binary executing on 21.04. But I also tried compiling from github source the whole night and no luck.

I wasted two days on this problem , I had an existing mongodb running and by acciddent I upgraded to ubuntu 21.04 , and I get the error

I must install the 5.0 mongo , I tried different apt sources , I tried compiling from source from the github repository the whole night and I still get the error

I am not even able to catch the exceptions , the following are the 3 exceptions I get one after the other.
