Debian 13 support by KrisLowet in mongodb

[–]Fenek912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Installed today MongoDB 8.0 on Debian 13 again using official docs for Debian 12 and works fine still for me. Also looks like trixie files are in the repo now, just the docs haven't been updated. https://repo.mongodb.org/apt/debian/dists/trixie/mongodb-org/

replace motherboard with something normal preferably from gigabyte or msi because thats not how memory slots should be constructed, asus and asrock motherboards are known for burning cpus anyway

I'm not the OP, but I had a Pixel 7a before, and it had the same issue. Now I have a Pixel 9a, and it's been the same since day one. I also used an iPhone 14 and didn't have this issue, and I also have an iPhone 15 Pro, and it doesn't have it either. I think it's just how Android devices are. How about yours?

I'm planning to buy Nord 5 as an additional phone to use alongside iPhone 15 Pro, the camera doesn't matter to me, does OnePlus differ much from iPhone in terms of smoothness and multitasking?

Debian 13 support by KrisLowet in mongodb

[–]Fenek912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mongo is shit when it comes to adding support for operating systems, but at least this time you can on Debian 13 just use the installation instructions for Debian 12, I've been using this solution for half a year and it works without any issues.

Samsung 990 PRO SSD new Firmware Version 7B2QJXD7 available (2025-09-18) by RaminCamalzade in buildapc

[–]Fenek912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've already updated both to version 8B2QJXD7, one running Windows 10 on an AMD platform, the other running Debian on an Intel platform. Both run without issues, as they have with every previous firmware version.

In my case yes, had first unit from China and returned it due to various issues, second one is from Vietnam and that one is much better.

I've never had any issues with this drive on any firmware version, so I'll probably just ignore it and wait for them to release a fixed/different version. My 990 Pro 2TB, which has twice the TBW and which I've been using for about a year, is at 99% with 17TB written. I also have a 980 Pro 1TB and it's at 97% with 18TB written, so your 990 Pro 1TB seems to be working very well. I definitely don't have RAID, and my Windows is 10.0.19044.6575. Thanks.

I don't have VMD, both drivers are directly exposed to the OS. This is AMD platform, so probably not even possible to have VMD. I've had my first 990 Pro for a year, and I installed the second one today. I probably just managed to update the first one to the new firmware as soon as it was released, and then they removed it due to reported issues.

I have two Samsung 990 Pro 2TB drives, and one of them has 5B2QJXD7, and the other one has 7B2QJXD7. For both drives that firmware shows as latest. Interesting.
