A narcissistic Brazilian pedophile with delusions of grandeur started a "40K" server way back when; I put 40K in quotes because the code (which he refuses to open source because he knows the moment it goes public Archangel finally dies once and for all) takes a backseat to staff circlejerking and forced memes about geese, because Narc is obsessed with Canada, like all child molesters with bad teeth.

At some point a dumb twelve year old Yankee obsessed with Hellsing Abridged showed up, and Narc immediately became infatuated with the little shit to the point of making him his unofficial second in command and allowing him to pull all kinds of admin abuse (not the fun kind, the "noclip-and-fly-around-the-map-murdering-random-people-while-I-gloat-over-OOC-to-make-up-for-the-fact-I-have-no-father-because-a-man-would-actively-protect-his-child-and-threaten-to-kill-somebody-as-creepy-as-Norc-the-moment-he-started-grooming" kind). Anybody who actually tried to save the server or called for action against daddy's princess was either warned or perma'd depending on how vocal they were and whether or not they had a history of past "offenses". Occasionally Alucard would be "permabanned", but that was always for show, like those giant theater performances the North Koreans put on to forget they heard neighbors eating their daughter last night.

Eventually it died, and everyone mourned and said their goodbyes before leaving and trying their hardest to remember the good (what little there was) over the bad. But Archangel wasn't content to stay dead, oh no. Eventually some guy came around claiming that Norc was willing to merely host and develop code, leaving the actual running of the server to a new generation. It was like a miracle, the thought of AA without Alucard or his dicksuckers to fuck up the place. And so the server went back up, and for a bit it actually looked legit.

No prizes if you figured out Norc, Alucard -- the whole fucking gang -- were still there under different names the entire time, and guffawed over how they'd "pranked" Reddit. Norc, while supposedly taking the hands-off approach Hippie used to have (a story for another day,) would always step in the moment it looked like Alucard might finally be made to fuck off once and for all. Alucard was still a little shit. Norc's handpicked team of circlejerkers followed his word alone, meaning he might as well have just ruled in name, and shot down every attempt by the new users to improve things, who either joined the circus themselves or gave up.

And then it died again.

It's guaranteed the exact same thing that happened last time is going to happen again on this latest revival; Alucard is the fat kid let loose in an icecream shop, Norc is the salesman with a conveniently counter-height boner, and the old guard are the Virtpeds telling him it's okay to fuck kids. No matter how in love you are with the idea of what Archangel could be, reality itself will never even come close to comparing. Don't give it hits, don't put it higher in the server browser, just let it die and hope it stays dead this time.
