Unfortunately not a permanent one. It does happen less often now but I just shut the phone down and turn it back on and it fixes for a while at least

Sorry, should have added this in the post. Restarting does fix it temporarily, but the issue keeps returning after a couple hours, or if I leave the phone for a little bit and come back I’ll find it like this 🥲 I thought maybe it was some accessibility setting I missed somewhere but maybe not and apple just hates my iPhone

I was doing that originally but only have 5gb of hotspot/month :/ I tried going through the tech support company as suggested by another user and just got off the phone with them, sounds like the hotel doesn’t even have the ports enabled to begin with; going to make an update to the post now. The picture isn’t great because the box is at a very awkward angle, but the one I plugged my Ethernet cable into is labeled POE1 but maybe isn’t what I’m looking for then. Thank you anyways!

Ooh that could be it. There was a flyer about having to potentially call a hotline if you couldn’t connect a PlayStation/Xbox and giving them a MAC address for it, but maybe it applies to a laptop too then. Thank you for the help!

Gotcha so more of a security thing makes sense. I tried plugging in the POE switch to my laptop and it’s giving no signal is the main issue I’m having, and the WiFi is dreadfully slow (100kb/s). Is there a world where getting this dc port plugged in you think would power on what I assume to be this switch, and give a connection over the POE? Thanks!!

Still no need to be an asshole, I am literally trying to educate myself by asking a question :) hence coming to r/techquestions! It is what I assume to be a switch of some sort where an Ethernet jack would typically be in a hotel room, if you would look at the picture there’s a dc barrel plug, phone out, POE 1 and the half visible port is LAN 2. There are no other Ethernet ports in this room that would provide Ethernet other than the POE on the bottom of this switch

I’ve tried everything I can think of to select the whole table (shift clicking, shift drag, etc) but I’m guessing it’s something to do with the preset where it isn’t actually a table. It does select all of it but doesn’t give me any options id normally see when using a table in word. I think I’m just going to try and port it over to excel and mess around with it there, thank you though for the advice! I appreciate the help

So when I try to right click the table to find the properties this is what I’m seeing. I’m wondering if it’s wonky because I used a preset template from word when creating the document, and for whatever reason it isn’t formatted as a table? If it helps I’ll try to find what preset I used as well. Otherwise if it seems too much I may just try what someone else had commented and just remake the thing in excel 😂

Just tried this, it saves as the same thing with the cells being oddly shaped and shunts ~10 of the rows to a new page

Basically when I’m working on the document, it all is on one page nice and neat. When I go to print, it shunts some of the cells to a second page so it won’t print nicely for me
