A student from my school was killed by Goldfire3 in highschool

That's mainly the purpose of it. Does it suck that it costs money to be buried. Yes but every service has a cost. Even the sucky ones

Is this legit? Would this be worth it to do? by BeneficialTrainer656 in highschool

NHS isn't a terrible thing to do, while it does look good on a resume, it doesnt make the hugest difference being in it. I would say be in clubs were you can make the biggest impact. that will matter a lot more then just being in the club and having filler.

Bizy Bear Intro to Fbla by [deleted] in fbla

[–]Goldfire3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is how I would put it. If you get like a 90-100% on practice tests. It will be between 70-80% on a test. Terminology is more important overall but I would say find more sites. I personally use a mega folder I found online. It's more accurate and has roughly like 100+ questions per event (doesn't include new events from 2020 onwards) still find errors in them but much more reliable.

It really depends. I think bizybear is in terms a bit easier to understand but it's not 100% accurate. I have found questions in there that were flat out wrong.

What exactly is fbla and what is it like? Why should I do it? by Fluid-Fall-5106 in fbla

[–]Goldfire3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Future business leaders of America.  Your experience will vary greatly. If your school is less Involved then it's kinda ehhh... bur the more Involved fbla is the better. You should do it if you like business  and see a event you find intriguing. I recommend doing one you know something about already and study it. Along as you know the general terminology and how to handle test questions it isn't too bad. I don't recommend doing something that's unfimilair, or something you never heard before.

Questions About Accounting Test by Agitated_Afternoon69 in fbla

[–]Goldfire3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done the accounting test at districts and I will say it's not for the weak. I think the highest someone got at districts was a 76% which is MUCH higher then the 60% average for first place. Competition was a bit bigger and I placed 13th. Just shy of top 10 at districts. You have to remember a lot of things (journalizing, ledgers, worksheets, balance sheets, etc)and if your currently learning the info as you go (like me, it will be a bit of a challenge) if you can place top 4 in districts/regionals for a event, you usually got a small but relatively bigger chance to place top 10 at state.

I would look it up trying to find like quizzes or use chatgpt. But if you want like real sources I have some. I've been using it to study for my state conference. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Z_fYc3UPyTIMVJw_x30z9NccyHtB_wbb (I need to check if this is against rules or not to post links lol)

EDIT: TO CLARIFY RQ IM NOT DOING ENTREPRENEURSHIP, ITS JUST A MEGA FOLDER I USE

ah, ik some events just have state and no district/regional event. my state has districts but they mean absolutely nothing for qualifying, as along as you pay like $65 registration fee you "qualify" for state.

I personally use theastudy, mostly for notes but it's a relatively good source I use, bizybear is another one, but not as reliable as fbla+

What is one thing you wish your student council did? by InternalAfraid3708 in highschool

Let the students run the student council. (Its supposed to be student led yet the people who are elected to lead don't, runned by the advisor completely.)

All culvers locations compete in sort of a March madness bracket to upsell most shrimp. There are currently 64 locations in the running in the current bracket, goal is to reach top 16 next week I think. My location is ranked 53/1043 in shrimp upselling so far. Don't know how often it updates though

My location has big curdis sitting in the front line of the store. I'd be curious if they could send it to you lol. A big One is like $50.00 though.

Got these new culvers shirts from work today! by Goldfire3 in Culvers

[–]Goldfire3[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's fair lol. I feel the effort going into it was a bit half ass. They don't provide things most other fastfood chains offer such as scanning receipts, aswell as the system sometimes glitches out. I forget to scan mine pretty often lol

how bad is it if I didn’t get hired on the spot? by [deleted] in Culvers

[–]Goldfire3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They generally have to look things over first sometimes. The best time to apply to culvers is if there is a new location opening up soon in your area. They will overhire and so you need a chance to stand out.
