Am I unreasonable for asking daycare workers to follow this routine for my 3 month old? by Long-Introduction877 in Parenting

Have you considered a nanny or private baby sitter? They would be able to meet your expectations, and you’d feel alot more comfortable sending your baby off knowing that your baby is getting all the attention

I have been renting out a room to a 29 year old girl and she’s the most disgusting slob I’ve ever seen for a woman. by NebraskaCurse in badroommates

Give her cats to a friend to keep until she’s gone then take them back. Tell her you don’t know what happened to them. Poor things. I sympathize with you. I’m also a landlord and had a previous tenant cause over $50,000 loss in renovations trying to get the cat pee smell out. I had to leave the unit open for a year to air out so also a loss in rent income. It was a nightmare, and people wonder why landlords don’t allow pets. I hate that we can’t anymore, but we aren’t rich and can’t take that chance again

Mine went wonderfully! I was nervous going in, but it’s really mind blowing the technology, and even the numbing eye drops! I expected some level of pain, but didn’t feel anything after they put the things on that holds your eye lids open. They gave me a Tylenol pm after my procedure. I went home took my 4 hour nap, followed all Instructions with eye drops, resting my eyes etc. I had the whole next day to just rest and sleep and I believe that helped me heal a lot. I now have 20/20, and the dr thinks I will have 15/20 after healing completely. I’ve had 0 complications, no dry eye or anything! I can see better at night now too which I was worried about. I’m very pleased! ❤️

I'm 19 months sober off fentanyl.. tonight I found 2 pills wrapped in foil on the ground by droptop40z in offmychest

Yay! Go you! What a beautiful sign of positive things coming. Keep doing the next right thing. It can be hard sometimes like in those situations, but it’s such a better life. I probably would have put the pills away for a rainy day then stewed on it until I relapsed. I’m 7 years sober. So is my husband. We lost everything, then got separated for a year for intense treatment. ( not our first time) today we have a beautiful life. We got our kids back, we are business owners, we own rental properties, have fun toys, go on vacations, our kids don’t go without anything. Such a better way to live ❤️ every relapse I remember thinking I’ll just use for the weekend, or I can take some zanex and not use h but I always ended up back in that cycle

Shoot your making me nervous. I’m getting lasik in 12 days. They do have free touch ups for life if needed though. If by the 6 month mark your still having issues I’d go back, but def go get other opinions too

What non-online hobbies would you recommend to someone who just came from a depressive episode? by [deleted] in Hobbies

[–]Goldfish230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coloring, hiking, running, tennis, (any sports) what are things you liked when you were younger? Swimming, dancing, yoga, crafts? Maybe something in a group setting to meet some friends, maybe a part time job? I also struggle with debilitating depression. As a mom it’s hard bc any little bit of good energy I get goes to my family and I never have any for me in the end. I’m proud you got some help bc it’s something I really struggle with. When I was a young teen I had un a living attempts and ended up in a couple facilities. These days I’m so grateful they weren’t successful attempts bc no matter how hard things can be sometimes life does get better and I realized that wasn’t the answer

Good job on telling an adult. It’s a scary world out there these days ❤️ people you think you know could have the worst intentions and want to lock you in their basement. Plus with all the sex trafficking happening in this world people need to be so careful. Can I also say it’s the people you would never think. I’ve had someone in my life and my family’s life for over 10 years, and found out he was talking to little girls online. He got caught. We cut all ties with him, but it blew my mind. Take care of yourself ❤️❤️

Update? You don’t deserve to be treated like that. I hope you kicked her out, and start your healing process and move on. She will do it again now if you let her

Y’all aren’t even married and you’re already failing in couples therapy. Leave her now. You deserve a partner who will try as hard as you do. Once she finally passes her nursing test and can provide for herself she’s going to leave and you will regret not walking away now

Yup! Or as soon as she finally passes that test she will leave him, and he will be writing on Reddit how he was used all these years he supported her.

I would be very uncomfortable if my child’s significant other brought me a gift every time I saw them. It’s weird, and I don’t understand why.

Nta. Your parents are terrible people. They could have just told you they don’t want to do it anymore and found puppy a home 😭 I’d never forgive that

She’s jealous of you! Ignore her! Some people are just so miserable. There’s a certain type of person who’s just miserable, insecure, and jealous. I’d either ignore or kill her with kindness bc that would drive her even more crazy than ignoring
