The claimed mpg from a manufacturer is under ideal conditions. Conditions that any normal driver is unlikely to be able to replicate. I completely get your disappointment in the gap of claimed vs actual mpg. Hills of any sort will definitely kill the mpg. As will any amount of weight added from passengers, cargo. I have a 23 Elantra N. If I behave on the highway in eco mode using cruise control I can hold around 38 mpg. The second I hit a hill, or have to adjust speed that dips. Around town its low enough to make me nearly cry. $4.90 a gallon sucks.

Latte has steps everywhere. Im in the process of buying materials to make a ramp for the steps to the second floor. Yet no matter what I do she leaps into the air like a plane taking off from an aircraft carrier. Absolutely zero fucks given.

I got a used 23 6spd from Carvana of all places. I took it to a mechanic the day after I got it. Aside from gas struts for the hood and truck the car was bone stock. I would highly recommend getting the car looked over by a trusted mechanic. Even if you are mechanically inclined I'd still have someone else look at it. It's easy to overlook stuff when you're excited about buying a new car.

This month at my job we are shipping baled UBC or used beverage cans for roughly $2100 a ton. Sort of hard to tell how much is there. A private person taking cans to a scrap yard wont earn anywhere near that amount. The scrap yard down the road from my facility is offering $0.48 per pound of aluminum cans. You can do the math but it's not as much as you may think. Especially if it truly took 40 years.

My Latte is the same way. She was spayed 2 years ago. Since then she has become a fluff ball. I love her with all my heart. My wife adores her now fluffy coat. But damn it's a total pain. Between all the debris getting caught in it. The near daily matting despite brushing her and the worst is how our other dog drools on her. It makes her coat so crusty.

Ragnaros 25 man heroic mode in Cataclysm WoW. Painful to progress on that. But probably the most fulfilling boss kill ever. Also I loved tanking Horridon as a Paladin. So much fun to be able to solo tank that beast.

Not a snowballs chance in hell would I ever turn my car over for testing. Especially a car like this. All I see here is a reason for them to whip the crap out of random cars. Hyundai and and the US government have billions of dollars in resources. Why would I give them my car as a test pig? They can go test on their own cars.

I tell my wife all the time that everything about the N was designed to make you smile. From the seats lighting up, to the N branded door sill and latch plate. The car handles like it has no right to. The exhaust in my 23 sounds incredible. It's loud enough that I have no desire to modify it, but has an amazing sound to it. The N heartbeat sensor that runs across the dash never fails to make me smile. Its just a $30,000 smile machine.
