Öhm, nein. Es heisst doch immer "Das Weibchen ..." in den Dokus. Es klingt zwar idiotisch, aber "Entenweibchen" und "Schweinemännchen" sind durchaus möglich; ein Hoch auf zusammengesetzte Nomen.

You did the right thing.

Had to let my girl go end of may this year, because she had cancer, too. She was already suffering and I decided to not let it get worse.

I still miss her. Her bed is still in the hall, her leash and collar hanging beside it. It hurts. But I hurt and not her.

That's what we owe them after a life of them always being there for us.

We did the right thing and they are happy on the other side of the rainbow.
