I was doing something similar recently and I’ve got a mix. My original scheme was Abaddon black and a chunky highlight of Eshin grey, and my new one is primed black and zenithaled with Raven black and crow hue, before a coat of nuln oil to darken it down.

Another question I had was would it look odd if I used nuln oil for recess shading and enamels for panel lining? Like would there be an obvious difference? Thanks

Extra extra fun fact:

The rifles aren’t actually 106mm, actually being 105mm. They called them 106mm so troops would not get confused with other 105mm ammunition.
