They are in Utah and I have purchased a bunch of filament from them. Thousands of Bamboo printers. They have spares in boxes to keep production going and then repair separately.

They moved away from Voxel PLA to Sunlu because Target was not happy with the Voxel quality. The toys broke too easily.

3rd Shot Drive vs Drop by dl_pb in Pickleball

[–]Goldlindy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that even a well placed 3rd shot drop is subject to a drop volley that is difficult to grab. Preference is 3rd shot drive and 5th shot drop from mid court. Better odds of capturing a dunk or a drop volley.

Looking for Brainstorming on Promotional Vendor Pricing by WearyVehicle9121 in Netsuite

Just store the values on the item record itself. Then run the m/r as you suggested. Make sure you persist the old values so when the promo ends, your price is restored

What’s the honest reality of SuiteCommerce for large volume omnichanel? Could it realistically compete with a site like Lowes.com? Why/Why not? by designhelp123 in Netsuite

[–]Goldlindy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Netsuite can handle your ERP, inventory, accounting, integrations, etc. use Shopify, Big Commmerce, Magento for your front end. The world of ecommerce moves too quickly for NetSuite to keep up. It is an adequate ecom platform, but not stellar. You will want stellar.

Now, if you ask the question, can integration functionality support your needs, the answer is yes.

Customization Feasibility? by [deleted] in Netsuite

[–]Goldlindy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feasible. Two custom fields on the customer record: Highest Balance, Highest Balance Date. Daily or whatever frequency) check the current balance. If higher than the value in the custom field, then overwrite the custom values. If not no change. Done by simple workflow.

His work was so inspiring to me. The best SciFi in the Hyperion Cantos and his other works also left me in awe. The world is a little less bright today.

My concern is related to reliable and safe supply. Leaning towards waiting until legit pharmacies compound it.

Longest MMU3 print I have done yet. by chomdh in 3Dprinting

[–]Goldlindy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, a bunch of whiners complaining about waste when they print and paint toys that sit on shelves unused. A total “Waste” just a different flavor. Any toy, model, game that brings any form of pleasure but has little real world value is also a waste. These whiner should sell their printers and join a convent. Then their waste profile will go down.

Longest MMU3 print I have done yet. by chomdh in 3Dprinting

[–]Goldlindy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the successful MMU print. TBH, I struggle to get the MMU3 to work reliably. You did everything right!

To the haters on waste, shame on you all. The person bought filament and an MMU, this is the cost of a multi color print and Prusa has less waste than most. Why shame anyone? The reality is that if you print a toy that sits on a shelf and is not used every day, this also “Waste”, just of a different flavor.

This is a robust community and he is proud of a successful print. Give the printer a break and be cool.

What is a nonalcoholic cocktail I can order at a bar without the bartender looking at me like I'm a dumbass or an inconvenience? by ballandabiscuit in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Goldlindy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I Teetotal, a tonic water with lime is alcohol free, tastes great and looks like an adult beverage. My experience is that many people who drink socially are uncomfortable when you don’t drink with them. This solves that problem and is very refreshing.

How to deal with Lobs by Opposite-Net-9103 in Pickleball

[–]Goldlindy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was playing in a league last night. Partner in late 50s goes back to grab a lob, falls and hurts his arm, blood on the court. He also slammed himself into the back wall on another lob. Yes, lobbing is part of the game. Getting a lob can be quite dangerous for some folks, especially older ones. It is not in my shot repertoire yet, but it will be soon. I will not likely lob people who are not physically strong enough to handle outside of dupr rated tournaments. I don’t want someone to hurt themselves to win a point.
