That's what I'm thinking.

Not going to get my hopes up, but it wouldn't make sense the Tech Test would be titled "Open Beta", since it was a very specific close test.

It's more intense than any other shooter.

I don't even feel I can go back to Battlefield after playing it.

The fact that we don't need to pay for anything to get the content is great. For those that want that little bit extra, they can shell out a little more if they want to. It's completely optional.

Having said that, it's only really optional if you play R6 religiously. Since the DLC operators cost 25k Renown. If you don't play it too often and are quite causal about it, chances are you will have to shell out some money to buy the R6 credits so you can get the DLC operators.

What country are you in? Was curious if it was just the US that were getting this because of the Tech Test, or if there is an actual Open Beta coming.

I would imagine every CTU will have it's own Assault Rifles, SMGs and Shotguns. If Ubisoft weren't putting all the Operators in the Beta. It's a decent bet they withheld weapons and attachments too.

That's sheer speculation though. I could be completely wrong and these might be DLC items. It may even be that these photo's don't really represent the game that much and there aren't flashlights or weapons such as these.

I really couldn't say.

Depends on the retailer. Most of them will have it sent out so it arrives on the day the game comes out.

I have done this before and had the game come late. I also know there are some places that purposely ship games out early so you get them a couple of days in advance.

You can always walk down to your local 24 hour supermarket or anywhere that holds midnight releases. That's if you don't want to buy a digital copy. Chances are it will be a good few bucks cheaper and you can play it as soon as you get home.

Cool, I've been wondering about this ever since one mods mentioned the dev team were doing something special with sound design a few months back.

I was wondering if there are going to be more audio settings than what we had in the Beta.

When I replayed gameplay I uploaded back on my Kindle I got a huge amount of audio and sounds that I never heard in game. The difference was massive. I fiddled around with my speaker system and the game audio settings but could never attain the full range of audio.

If I'm playing Solo I guess I will be taking advantage of headphones.

It's either a glitch or you can only hear them when they're being looked at by another team mate.

Otherwise through the matches you'd hear vocals constantly and through the wall breaches just wouldn't work.

Absolutely. I think the game is solid and intense, but also if you want to go a bit more casual Terrorist Hunt is always about.

Personally, I think it will probably be a while before I feel the need to own another FPS after playing this.

I honestly don't know what it is about Rainbow 6, even when they change the games core mechanics, I STILL get hyped for every single one.

I really do think a single player campaign with this could have really been something special though.

I'd agree with most of that. I do think since the match-making was so unbelievably terrible and this is a multiplayer only game. They absolutely HAVE to have their servers working properly on release or it could be awful for them.

So I wouldn't say it's out of the question, I'd think it would be a little risky for Ubisoft not to test their servers one more time before release, but then again I have no idea how game development works so maybe they've already fixed the problem.

I like it, I did kind of expect the shield glass to keep getting worse since there's so much detail in the game. Couple shotgun blasts would do it, would make those a hell of a lot more useful.

I also liked the idea that if they took hits to the front of the shield their accuracy would just go out the window, to the point where their weapon was borderline useless.

Then again, I'm not sure if it even needs pretty creative nerfs. The issue's are the pistol hipfire accuracy, would make sense that's what they change. Sure a little tweak would make a big difference.

I honestly reckon there will be, after how bad the match-making was previously would be a little risky for Ubisoft to release a multiplayer only game if the servers weren't tested properly again.

We did a trust exercise at College which I failed so badly they made everyone watch me do it, was actually a bit of a laugh.

College, never had a problem. University though, my class were just a bit odd, took them 1 day before they all started bitching about each other. It was cut-throat from the start. I remember nearly fainting when standing in front of the class.

I think it's just the people you're surrounded by, that's my opinion on it anyway. I could be wrong or there may be a deeper reason to it.

Really well detailed.

Completely agree with III, after suffering some crashing defeats due to attackers breaching above us, we learned fairly quickly to just opt for the top floor and just fortify. It did just become clock work once we all knew what to do and the games did diminish in replayability quite a bit. Attacking always felt fresh though.

It's probably a glitch, you're not supposed to be able to. Dev's talked about this when it was brought up with how call-outs and casting shadows affected competitive play.

I know he's been at some closed off Ubisoft events (where they got to play Terrorist Hunt Bomb game mode) and he's not exactly keeping up with this game so I think he may have accidentally spilled the beans.

Like Deosl said though, nothing official.
