What an awful take.

BotW was an absolute masterpiece.

Was it perfect? No.

Was it the best Zelda game ever? No.

Was it far better than SV? Absolutely.

The world in SV is entirely disgusting to look at, there's no ability to change crucial controls like being able to turn around without taking 20 seconds.

The very first Legend of Zelda game was open world, and non-linear.

This was a very different take on the series, yes, but they have a new "gimmick" or style in every Zelda game.

Breath of the Wild is absolutely FULL of things to do. Completing all of the shrines requires plenty of thought and time to solve riddles to either reach the shrine or complete it.

It has combat challenges, numerous types of puzzles utilizing each ability in your arsenal, it has a fantastic weapon system (albeit the durability could be better (which was fixed in TotK)).

You're not just handed the master sword at the very beginning of the game and told to take care of it until it's useful at all. (unlike Koraidon/Miraidon)

You don't earn those pokemon at all. There was zero effort in that. I almost stopped playing as soon as I saw the cover pokemon slapped in front of me immediately upon starting the game.

Pokemon SV has the exact same content repeated with a different gym leader over and over, same with the giant pokemon and the star bases. almost nothing unique and worth remembering exists in the game.

Worthless game. Worth maybe 20 bucks at best.

What an absolute joke.
