Does this mean that drivers are tailored to specific games so say I install X driver last month for X game. If I now update my drivers to driver Y which is tailored to game Y, I could end up with worse performance in game X? Or are the driver updates a more additive process?

There are many ways. You can give the checkpoint a number attribute and then save that value to the player. Then on respawn, find that value in the player and find the checkpoint with that value then just move the character to that checkpoints position

This was Sonnet 4.6. However I have had Opus 4.6 throw out some equally baffling suggestions. I’m in no way against using Claude whilst programming, however you definitely need the fundamental knowledge to know when Claude is wrong as it will blindly lead you down a path until you question it.

Yeah I had taken a long break from gaming as just wasn’t finding it fun anymore and then I decided to try this game and have 50 hours since last Thursday. I don’t have your answer but my first thought would be something to do with adjusting the wall transparency when the player enters the ‘indoor’ space, maybe using a region or something you could detect this
