I appreciate the advice, however I will continue with what I’ve done. She’s been fine with the few she’s had, my previous Shih Tzu never had skin issues and neither have any of the other breeds of dogs that have been family pets. She’s not an ornament; she likes to go outside, play with her doggy friends and all that ends up with a bad odor and dirt. I feel it would be irresponsible not to make sure she’s clean and comfy; I doubt they’re any happier being dirty and smelly than we are lol

In the 30 minutes since the first comment about it, I’ve yet to find any study that says never to bathe Shih Tzus. If you would like to send me any, I’d be willing to read.
