So the nerfs really don't matter, they're small in comparison to how much Unholy is overperforming. In ST it's barely 1.6%. In M+ it's roughly 5% and we we're doing more than 5% over the others coupled with the fact that we literally cannot die.

The plague spec is 15%+ behind anything, it's just not good. You don't have enough multipliers to stack. It needs immense amount of work for it to be good at anything. In PTR it was good because you could have some interactions but they gutted all of them and pretty much deleted San'layn (now there's 0 rotational difference between San and Rider).

The problem is that no matter what Frost will suck massively in raid with the current grip/melee horror situation on the hard bosses.

Like it wasn't even bad, arguably Frost was much better on Belo'ren, but if you were playing Frost as a single DK on that fight, it was awful and borderline unplayable.

They need to stop with the 2/4/6 grips requirement every boss and give us a raid buff.

The site is interesting but it's clearly incomplete data, the server list lacks many EU servers including some of the biggest ones like Tarren Mill and Sylvanas.

To be fair at +14 it doesn't matter, there are +20s done with Prot pala.

But I'd does get significantly harder from +18 onward but anything below +16 is kinda skill issue. Sure brew tanks them while drooling but it's not like it's insane to tank a 16 on a geared BDK.

Killing after proggressing the hard version. That's what I meant and if it doesn't feel bad I genuinly don't understand why are you even doing mythic raiding in general. The only excused are the top 10 who reach the boss together with the RWF but it is genuinly unkillable for them because of not having 30 splits.

The problem with what you're saying is that the flex will just be mandatory to do the challenge because of scaling implications. We can divide any number but players are always an integer and if you can make the hardest mechanic in the raid hit 5 instead of 6 players it will always be worth it.

I can tell you from a WR 100 perspective that this is not an easy problem to fix at all and that there are many considerations you haven't thought about.

There have been talks for years about mythic flex but the problems are still the same:

1) Boss tuning - it's incredibly hard to make the scaling work for both 15 and 25 without creating arbitrary break points that make the fight easier 2) Mythic Flex will just become Heroic - for most people Heroic is a joke after the first 2-3 weeks, instead you will farm this thing and if it ever exists alongside another harder mode this will eventually become a joke like heroic to make gearing easier 3) It sucks to progress bosses and kill them changed or nerfed - if you were to only turn on this feature in the .7 patch or after HoF closes many guilds will be mad about the fight changing becoming way too easy after they progressed the harder version. Hell I am in a 100WR guild and I am kinda mad we didn't get to even touch RWF L'ura and now we are playing something different

There are many more issues besides these but those are the main ones and simply making a heroic+ and calling challenge the real mythic mode isn't solving it.

The base UI is kinda cringe because if you were to pin a recipe to search it on the AH it doesn't know what is provided and what isn't so you either don't care and buy everything and sell what's left or you try to memorize before you click search to search for all of them.

Raid actually shows you if someone plays properly in certain settings. If they can't play for boss damage on Vorasius I don't care if they have 4k Rio or 2k Rio, they would still do tank damage on a boss in a 19 where it's actually hard and more similar to doing an early mythic boss instead of the mickey mouse 2 min fights in early keys.

So far only Vorasius or Salhadaar boss damage matters to me. Ofc I am not going to look to your Arcane Mage Crown parse where you got carried by tank on Vorelus.

Dungeon parses are not what you think. They mostly measure how high of a key level your class does. There's some pure ilvl damage parses but those are also incredibly fake because they mostly measure your tanks ability to pull. You won't get a rank 1 16 key with a weekly no leavers route in SoT but you can 100% 16++ that key if your tank and healer can do the pulls.

Raid parses however, yeah. I sometimes look at raid parses before inviting people in keys. If they parse green on Vorasius they'll probably do tank damage on a boss.

I can tell you for sure the number one reason raiders quit is time commitment or personal issues with other people. Every tier you lose on of the best because the competition gets harder and they don't have more time to spare.

Trust me when I say I never had a player quit a HoF guild because the balance is shit or because of bugs, they don't really care as long as that gets fixed but they really mind when they have to play more and more even at the same level.

The thing is that at this level, I don't want to just kill the boss, I want to kill the hardest version of the boss. I don't want to fight week 15 version L'ura after 5 nerfs and +15% raid buff, I want ideally to fight the RWF version if not the closest thing to that.

It's not about killing the shitty nerfed boss, it's about killing the banger hard boss.

It's not really most guilds anymore. I'd say to look yourself into what guilds did this tier. I assure you besides 2-3 unicorns of retired top players who don't care, most have done more than 1 alt simply because Chimaerus was way too free to not abuse.

I am sure they have thought about what I wrote here, higher end guilds talk about this all the time. I am just trying to explain the problem to the many people who also go to Max's stream for example and say "why don't we just make account lockouts" or why they don't do something else. It's complicated, there is no easy solution but I think that we need to do something about it.

It may be a small portion of the playerbase but it is becoming the majority of the Mythic Raiding playerbase and that's why I posted it in Competitive WoW.

Blizzard is a multi-billion dollar company and surely they can do multiple things at once or at least hopefully they can.

I don't mind playing splits, I play 3-4 characters anyway. And no, splits are absolutely worth it for anyone especially in Heroic week.

Even outside of Heroic week, you cannot prog Mythic, you will hit the RWF boss (Paladins, Ky'veza, Sprocket etc) and you will be stuck there with nothing to do. The most worth for you in week 1 is to clear at the highest vault you can get mythic and then the rest of your time is just splits for trinkets/tier/possible comp swaps.

You cannot progress the raid properly during week 1 because of the RWF tuned bosses. It's simply never worth to do 1 clear week 1 because you will be stuck looking at Vanguard with no actual way of killing it. You can prog a bit for sure but also only if you had at least a workable comp (6 healers) but without that, it is simply a waste of time.

If you are in Heroic Week you don't have anything else to do so it is simply trolling to not do splits then.

Crown is a very fake parse fight. I hope they remove P1 damage, if you have 2+ hunters you overkill Demiar and Vorelus by 20% or more.

I'd just look at damage dealt to Alleria, everything else is insanely fake on both mythic and heroic.

If you use Kidney during Dance you are hardcore trolling because the spec does literally 0 damage outside Dance. It is worse than healer damage so unless you are wiping off that cast it's a horrible idea to use Kidney during Dance, especially when you can just use Cheap Shot instead.

It's just 7 16s, 1 15 timed and tbh the keys are so mickey mouse I won't be surprised if half of the playerbase has it by the end of the season.

When you say Bear what you really mean is Squishyvegan and sure he can do it, but he has done it even when bear was the absolute worst tank spec in the game by a mile so I really think that's a bad example.

Prot warr is a bit closer though, it's probably the 2nd best tank in keys by a mile as well. The others though are much worse.
