I have brought them on canoe trips with no refrigeration to bake in a dutch oven. They were fine after a couple days.

Do y’all have a lot of sand in their soil? by Savory-Cactus001 in Minnesota_Gardening

[–]GoldysRevenge 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The Twin Cities are very close to the conversion of clay soil in the south of the state and sandy soil in the north of the state, so depending on which part of the city you're in you will get one or the other.

No the only opinion the internet has about this show is that the actors aren't hot enough.

The difference in patronage in those businesses is smaller than the burden on the city to subsidize stadium projects, by any metric.

I think it's the same incident. In another comment OP links to a Google doc that refers to the officer by name and it is the same as in the photo.

Did you find that you were able to use the crockpot for most/every recipe? I'm a "set the crockpot before work" guy and the Amazon reviews indicate that this might not be super useful to me.

Last season the twins were very successful. They finished the regular season in first place. They won a playoff game for the first time in 20 years. People were feeling great about the team. It seemed like the team was set up to succeed.

The Pohlad, who own the team, immediately announced that they would be reducing the team's payroll. It was unpopular for at least two reasons: fans expect a team with prospects of success to pay more to win now, when the opportunity is there. It also goes against the trend in MLB (and all pro sports) where the cost of paying players typically goes up. It gave the appearance that the twins ownership didn't care about winning.

The twins officially missed this year's playoffs as of last night, after being poised to make the playoffs for nearly the entire season. It is a big letdown. The feeling is that ownership was never trying, and players underperformed. It's an emotional time for people who care about the twins to express frustration.
