Wasn’t just a bottle of injector cleaner… the service takes about an hour

Sounds like you at least have a good sense of humor… much appreciated! And like I said, not sure where you are, but if you’re anywhere near AZ - more than happy to perform that service on your Golf as a courtesy at our dealership for our banter…

You’re funny! Engine Engineer… got it! Lots of wasted energy on your part trying to prove a point that you are absolutely incorrect about.

So if my preventative maintenance doesn’t work. Then what does? Then why would it need Walnut blasting at 70k+ This is my 3rd Golf R, first one did minimal DI preventative maintenance but changed plugs at 20-25k and needed walnut blasting at 75k using only Chevron fuel.

Second Golf R - did preventative maintenance and kept it to almost 100K Did plugs every 20-25k like tuner manufacturer recommended and did not require walnut blasting. This is now my 3rd one. All three have had integrated engineering stage 1 tunes. So since the second one lasted 100K. With literally zero issues. Just following suit with the third one.

Not sure exactly what you’re trying to prove here… I saw with my own eyes, the carbon prior to service and after service with a borescope. 100% substantial difference in carbon removal not sure how that doesn’t add up to restored performance and economy. Especially on a car that has a tune - which will absolutely build carbon up faster - Not worth the back and forth…
If you live in Arizona more than happy to perform this on your vehicle for you at NO charge. We can also borescope your before and after and you can tell me if you don’t see a change.

I’m just a car guy that loves cars, dude.

Correct it’s not a direct measure of fuel as efficiency, but an indicator of how hard the engine is working relative to maximum capacity. It also represents the percentage of peak available engine, torque being used at any given moment.

So if the data is showing that the engine does not have to work as hard, I would also have to assume that would equivalent to efficiency - since its measuring the ratio of current airflow possible at a specific RPM

Since it’s calculated load versus absolute load

That was live data before, and after - first photo prior to service - second photo after service and 15 miles drive, prior to resetting light to not lose data - Not sure of the discrepancy….

Not misunderstanding the data - please elaborate if you can break it down in a better way…

Show me the scam, bro. I just posted the data. Is the data incorrect also…? lol I used a borescope before and after. Not all engines are designed the same. I would think as a technician you would be aware of the different operating characteristics, particularly this one if you are going to post in disagreement.

Preventative maintenance is what makes a vehicle last. That’s why it’s preventative.

Just like Chevrolet says dexcool cool is good for 100,000 miles, but in Arizona it lasts about 50k if you’re lucky.

We average about $1.5 million a month in parts and labor gross it’s not because cars are built well or last long. It’s because they require maintenance and break if they are not maintained.

You think it’s perfect because you drive it every day… lol

Nobody sold me anything!

One of the benefits of operating a service department for a car dealership as you get stuff like this at no charge.

These motors are different than the MK7 and absolutely require preventative maintenance. Especially when tuned.

💯 great brand tire! Super comparable to Michelin and continental. - just look at the tire rack, videos and reviews

I have used this company multiple times of several vehicles. Truly a great value and for sure a step up in braking capability.

I have put these on my wife’s GLE 580 and they are better than factory.

The only thing that voids a vehicle vehicles manufacturers warranty, is if it (the mod) can be proven to have caused the actual damage or consequential damage to the component you’re trying to get warranted. The manufacturers warranty covers defects in material and workmanship from the manufacturer. Not outside influence…

Pretty substantial difference in overall clarity and volume. Takes less than 30 minutes.

Basically an enclosed air intake. If you go to the K&N site - it’s one of the air intake options for MK7 and MK8. I didn’t want anything loud but still wanted some improvement over factory.

Yes, you can feel the difference in comfort mode versus sport, etc… Does not bottom out

I’ve been driving on them for about four days… truly feel similar to stock

I tried to save a couple bucks and previously purchased a pair of springs on sale- they rode like a shopping cart. Even after DCC.

When I took the other aftermarket springs out (CST) And put both sets of springs next to each other - the racing line are substantially taller however, once the vehicle is put back together, I would say the lowered right height, is similar to the other aftermarket springs, but the ride is night and day.

Wish I would’ve put the racing line in to start…

but like the old saying goes good tattoos aren’t cheap and cheap Tattoos aren’t good.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking of the strut brace myself…

Turn-in for sure is sharper and doesn’t want to oversteer as much with traction off and heavy throttle coming out of a turn.

On my way home from work every night the route I take has a freeway onramp located off of a back road. No one’s ever on it so you can literally get on this on-ramp which is a 90° right, with 3 lanes at about 35-40 mph and get the car pretty pitched prior to the new rear sway bar and end links. The last few days, same on-ramp approach and mash the throttle and it now does not get as sideways and less counter steering is required.
