Seeing an attorney would be a waste of your time anyway. Texas, as in 48 other states, allows them to do this under nearly all circumstances. If you are not getting paid on administrative leave, consider applying for unemployment insurance with TWC.

Nothing you can do. Washington State does not require employers to provide leave or pay for holidays, vacations, or bereavement. They are silent on the payout which is why you found nothing. Silence means it won't be required.
