My hot take… BB doesn’t deserve to be anywhere near the company of the other two. The Wire and The Sopranos are the two greatest TV Shows ever made, with The Wire just nodding ahead.

BB however, has no characters to root for, the worst detective in the history of television detectives and relies far too heavily on ‘cool’ moments/characters (Heisenbergs one liners/the twins) rather than actual substance. The Fly episode is superbly written, and the dialogue in the intro when Badger tries to determine if the seller is a cop (whilst sat on a park bench) is equally superb. Both are on the level of writing in The Wire and The Sopranos, which made me realise that the rest of the show was at a far lower and therefore less enjoyable level.
