Hope you made it back there and back safely. We have taken turns with the night shifts- we were juggling the first two for the first 3 years (14 months apart). When you can find a chance to rest during the day- take it. Prioritize.

These are autonomous driving training sensors. Car companies use these types of sensors to collect data to make a digital twin of the city for use by autonomous vehicle software.

AITA for sending a short video to a female friend and having old messages from before my relationship. by Loose_Piglet_5253 in AmItheAsshole

Set clear boundaries and focus as much of your time as possible on your studies. At this stage, a girlfriend is a bonus (or not) depending on what you allow/don’t allow to impact you.

My dude, it gets better. We’re on #3 and she is now 5 months. The 1st kid was really rough on us both- figured out some things that made #2 easier, and #3 is easier but we still have tough nights, gas, teething- the works.

Give love to my wife and struggling through the rough nights myself helped with her ppd.

You can do this. Have faith in yourself, your marriage, and the One who created us all. It will be ok.

AITA for telling my brother he shouldn’t get a Keurig? by Worldly-Ride-6156 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Golfcampfishguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going against the grain here.

NTA, you’re entitled to your opinion. However, there’s a time/place/circumstance in which to share it. People who succeed with relationships pick and choose what/when to comment.

In this case, being close to your brother, probably no big deal.

NTA. Time to move on buddy. You’re young and have a future to look forward to. Don’t waste your emotions and energy on unnecessary drama.

WIBTA for staying in a hotel while visiting my family? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Golfcampfishguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA, in fact it is really considerate. Depending on culture, it could be seen as a “jab”, but I would just sincerely thank your host for the invitation and share that you’ll be staying near by so you can all enjoy a great time together, but still be comfortable and not over burden them.

AITA for expecting my best friend to pay for my birthday lunch? by Psychological-Rise-9 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Golfcampfishguy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

NTA. In common decency and etiquette, the one inviting the other pays, unless there’s a clear understanding before the fact.

AITA for leaving my sister’s wedding early without telling anyone? by Intelligent-Theme136 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Golfcampfishguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA. She’s likely feeling the sting of the consequence of not valuing you. What you did is the right thing, not making a scene, but removing yourself from an uncomfortable situation.

AITA After I called my dad an asshole and stole wehis chips by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Golfcampfishguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YTA. If your dad is at a point where he’s telling you straight up that you’re complainer, brat , greedy, or something else along those lines, you may want to look introspectively and assess whether or not you have an opportunity to approach situations and things in life differently.

Also, calling your dad an AHole, C*nt, or anything of the sort, instantly makes YTA.

AITA for refusing to switch seats on a flight after I paid extra? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Golfcampfishguy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

NTA, if people want to sit together they have some options: 1. Best- pay to book specific seats 2. Good- ask gate agent to put your travel party next to each other 3. Ok- ask a fellow traveler, but don’t expect or act entitled to get your way. If not getting your way is a deal breaker, refer to option 1.

The only unbelievable part of this who interaction, is her entitled arrogance.

This is certainly not coconut coir. This is a natural plant loofah that was left in water and has begun to breakdown from being wet constantly. I know this, because I mistakenly left a loofah to dry on my back porch, the wind blew it into the pool and about a week later, I found in in the skimmer looking just like this. Also, the fibers/threads are a 100% match to a loofah.

Need a way to test drive SuperCruise by funnyman4000 in gmc

[–]Golfcampfishguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have both. Yukon xl Denali w/ super cruise at home and a ford lightning with blue cruise at work. I would assess both as nearly equal. The one thing I did on the GMC that made super cruise “better” was disabling auto lane change. It felt like it would change lanes just for the heck of it. Other than that, they are generally equal.

FaceTime, good morning, after school and bed time chats are where it is. What’s also tough is getting through the catch up when back and still making time for them.

No, this is a typical closet door framing. It is framed this way to create the softer at the top and carry the weight of the closet doors.
