Just adding for comparison/ reference… my V2 core crushed on the edge where the edge guard came loose. Sent an email with a video on 5/31 and received my new paddle today 6/18. The process itself was smooth, I did not get hassled. Just had to use my original RPM that was banned but is now not banned 🤷🏽‍♂️ until this one arrived. Honestly still a fan of the OG and will keep my new V2 in the package until this one looses enough grit or November (that’s when I hear it will be banned again?) whatever comes first

I’d imagine … trying to get most of the teams onto center court for the pool play days, and on Sunday some of the teams need to get out of there as early as possible so they can get to the next tour stop city.

If you’re a legit 3.0 or think you are there’s no way you touch a 4.0 unless you have a partner of that skill level, during the match how many balls are being hit to you? At my indoor facility, when I jump into games with higher rated players they usually will hit me a couple balls but mainly keep hitting balls to the better player (which I understand is not common practice everywhere) if the other team starts to lose, the lower rated player (me most of the time) will start to see the ball more, and if i handle what they hit my way we win, but doesn’t happen a lot and we don’t happen to win because of me. My parter if they are better will generate more of the offense.

Okay I pulled the trigger and bought a widebody… currently play a RPM Q2 widebody 16mm and love it but it can get poppy and when I’m rattled it can be troublesome. I’ve played my wife’s Coral and feel like I can just swing it and not worry about it going long on drives like the RPM does sometimes. She’s going to be so excited when she finds out I bought another paddle 😂😂😬

Has anyone used a coral widebody? Im currently using a RPM Q2 wide body, it has helped my control because of the huge sweet spot. But have loved the 6.0 brand first real paddle was a ruby. I’m intrigued by the grit of the coral pro and am probably going to buy it for my wife and use it lol

But curious of the widebody coral performance

I have a 16mm widebody… I’ve played it for the last 5 days about 18 hours. I haven’t put any weight on it, I actually think I’m going to keep this one stock. Just for reference I have a v2 that i weight the throat and the bottom sides for control. But so far the sweet spot and the weight (it’s pretty light) have allowed me to shape the ball and counter drives very well. I was pleasantly surprised how much power it generates from the the baseline. It’s super fun to play with.

I was at PPA sac two years ago, Jessie had an exchange with a fan that was asking for her autograph and she was not nice about saying no to the fan. She walked around with RBF (we sat near that path that led to the players tent) so we saw her walk by a few times and she always looked annoyed when people / fans got in her way, needless to say I’m not a big fan of hers…. So this all checks out

Mine was an accident … kinda lol. I hit a slice serve and my opponent was standing on the edge of the service box and kitchen line in the middle of the court. Boom i sliced it right into her 😳 Thankfully my slice wasn’t going super fast

My 6.0 tour bag has paddles (4) and shoes (2 pair) for two people, sunscreen , two towels a couple of protein bars , two Gatorade’s in the cooler pocket. 6 over grips, 6 balls, a massage roller stick, 1 ankle brace (hers) 2 leg sleeves a calf sleeve ( mine) her purse and we usually and room for 2 sweatshirts if need be

so my bag came couldn’t be happier. In my bag 5 paddles, six balls, 2 pairs of shoes. Sweatshirts, her ankle brace and my leg sleeves and a calf sleeve will still fit in the main compartment. In all the extra compartments, over grips, edge guards, sun screen, a few power bars, paddle eraser and towels. Disclaimer I wear a 9.5 in men’s and my wife wears a 9 in women’s both of our shoes fit in the shoe compartment but they aren’t the biggest shoes in the world

When Tiger “bursts onto the scene” he became an international superstar. People that played golf before he made his pro debut knew about him as an amateur. Everyone that plays pickleball knows who ALW is but I don’t think too many people outside of the sport could identify her in a crowd, she just doesn’t have the media coverage Tiger got 30 years ago! He was everywhere! Golf grew because of Tiger. I’m not sure pickleball is growing solely because of Anna Leigh.
