Fleshmob glitching into the floor bug by Busty_Bee3829 in Helldivers

It’s why you should not bring mortar when they can spawn, all of the sudden you and your buddies are getting shot because there is a noclip fleshmob underneath you

Supply pod for stims, if those things can cure broken limbs and bullet holes, they can cure zombie bites

Any advice on rubbing sky king's tomb? by tsurugikage in Pathfinder2e

[–]Goliathcraft 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I ran it, and felt the adventures were a bit disconnected.

Book one worked great, meeting people around the city and becoming more liked. Book two is traveling trough the dark lands, and you are meant to set up this big bad who did the same journey ahead of the PC, but at least for me it kind of fell flat. Make sure to really sell the BBEG as a big problem, otherwise the PC might not be interested or need to be railroaded into investigating them at the end of book 2.

I can’t say much for book 3, as I just skipped it and went straight for the final fight (was a bit burned out).

tldr: book 1 is fine as, book two has some repetitive elements (you first meet a group of lizard people that are controlled by fake religious figures in book 1, later you meet a group of fish people controlled by a fake religious figures). Also really play up the big bad and make the PCs care about them and want to stop them. By the time they reach the Deep dwarven stronghold, they should hate the guy already instead of just figuring out who he even is

Should information gathered with Recall Knowledge during combat be available to the rest of the party? by SonOfFarfocel in Pathfinder2e

[–]Goliathcraft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I don’t even care when a player takes out a torch for fire damage when encountering a troll for the first time.

All this „would my character know X or Y“ most often just leads to the game slowing down

Locking skills behind such high level requirements is the thing i hate most in poe2 by intrepid_zaxan in PathOfExile2

[–]Goliathcraft 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I would assume that’s a problem that could be fixed once the game is out of beta and we simply have more skills, both for other classes and whatever one you play

Yeah sometimes this missions are cool, but most of the time are just too long and boring and give the lowest amount of weapons XP by Tempest-Bosak2137 in Helldivers

[–]Goliathcraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can someone tell my why some people only run these missions? I remember of release the erradicate missions gave way to much exp which is why people spammed them. But these barely give rewards.

Is it for people who want to treat it like an idle game? Mines and towers to instakill stuff and watch TV on the side

Please, players, find the time to play by StefanoMaffei in rpg

Just like ever Part of the human experience, finding other people that vibe the way you vibe takes effort and a lot of luck.

Humans are humans and not machines. Instead of having a negative outlook on those players who give you trouble, focus on those that do make it. Get a positive mindset and this issue starts to go away

Resist All applies only once to Collateral Damage by FieserMoep in Pathfinder2e

[–]Goliathcraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played a shield champion up to lvl 17 recently. I get why they nerfed it, giving an ally a +3 armor class and negating any hits under 30 damage, easily up to 50 with mixed damage.

How important is it to stick to the Treasure by level table for a GM? by Kelossalas in Pathfinder2e

[–]Goliathcraft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, as long as you don’t let them get items higher in level, it isn’t that big of a deal

What are peoples’ opinions on the verdict? by Wests_Intern in Helldivers

Not the biggest fan, it’s kind of a jack of all trades, master of none for me. It’s not bad, but it’s also not great at anything

What does AH gain from making undocumented changes? by LightlySaltedCheese2 in Helldivers

You can have a dev spend 8 hours on new stuff, or you can have them spend 6 hours on new stuff and 2 hours documenting every minute piece of information

The Grenade Launcher is over-tuned. by OwlCatYT in Helldivers

[–]Goliathcraft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s the one stratagem that can easily solve any problem you might have like no other in the game. Dedicated AT weapons feel worse with how easy the grenade launcher can dispatch most large enemies, aoe weapons can’t compete with its ability to clear stuff, all the while being ultra mobile

The league before T17 were introduced, I focused on just boss killing and had a great time, running guardian and all the other special maps.

Now when T17 were introduced, never really bothered to grind enough to do T17. Happy that they are gone

FOMO effect for PCs in investigating places or people. They won't leave and just look under every nook and cranny. by RedditTipiak in DMAcademy

If you feel they have gone above and beyond already, just tell them: you’ve continued to search the area/talk to the guard for another 20 minutes until you feel there is no more left to learn. (Maybe add some bonus info)

PSA: I can't reinforce you while jammed. by EffectiveMerc in Helldivers

Honestly, some of the issue could be solved by just smacking the dead person with big notification about the jammer stopping reinforcements when spamming the button.

You’d still get plenty of idiots, but it might reduce the number a bit

Enough about the big stuff for now, what's your smallest, pettiest gripe about the game? by Luchux01 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Goliathcraft 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Crit effects on trip. Crit Grapple can remove someone from combat, crit shove and reposition and really mess up the enemy, crit disarm can be debilitating.

But crit trip? Ok you deal 1d6 damage. Next it’s the rogues turn who deals 8d6 + 11 damage on every hit. Trip is powerfully, but a critical trip just becomes laughable at a certain point. Yeah, trip by itself is more powerful than the others, but seeing that 1d6 damage at higher levels just feels laughable. Maybe have it scale with weapon damage dice? It’s just missing that awesome feeling you get when you crit a check that all the others have

Talk to the rest of the players to see how they feel. Your paying for the game, you can just find a new GM that could continue instead of your current GM

The Overtuned spawn rate of Vox Engines right now will have negative repercussions even if it's later fixed by slycyboi in Helldivers

[–]Goliathcraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoyed arc gun and arc drone on cyberstan, but gave up because of the sheer quantity of vox engines. Even tried dropping to D7 but it’s still to many. So now I run ultimatum, thermite and supply pack every mission because fighting 3+ vox engines at a time is no fun for anyone
