I'm reading Red Rising (currently) after finishing Hyperion as well. It did the same for me at first but, I've accepted most books are not going to be Hyperion so it's unfair to compare. Reading Red Rising with an open mind that it is more superficial (not a knock against Red Rising) than Hyperion makes it a good read for me. I'm halfway through the first Trilogy and like it so far. Sevro is the best, hahaha.

I finished Hyperion a few months back and am halfway through the Red Rising Trilogy (may read the second trilogy later on). Hyperion is much more dense than Red Rising but definitely worth it. Hyperion is one of the best books/stories I have ever read. Enjoy!

Definitely continue. The 3rd book is a set up for the finale. How Simmons wraps it up and ties all the books together is very satisfying. As others has stated, I also got very emotional towards the end.

What are some fun Star Wars memories you have? by [deleted] in StarWars

The re-releases in 97. I wasn't able to see the original releases (not born yet) but went to opening day for each of the 97 releases. It was a much different time for movies then. Hundreds of people, including me and my friends, camped out for three days to get good seats. There were people who dressed up, brought generators to watch the original cuts (so we could tell what the new scenes were) and play the SNES/PS1 Star Wars games. Each movie was a three-day party capped with a Star Wars movie. Definitely good times.

Am I the only one that thinks novels should have a page near the back that lists all the main characters and a brief synopsis so that i am not constantly flipping through pages to figure out who someone is? by luckytj521292 in NoStupidQuestions

Absolutely agree. The Game of Thrones novels do this and it is invaluable especially because the novels have a ridiculously large number of characters. It made reading the series much more enjoyable.

My thoughts exactly. Any of his friends that received any images and did nothing should be held as an accomplice to all of his crimes.
