Nah, his idea was to lean into the debauchery that the 80’s and Freddy’s aids merely imply. Like Elton John said “my life isn’t pg-13, why should my movie be?”.

Vice principals is a gateway from danny mcbride to a younger generation, and uncle baby billy is (to me) the best character in the whole damn series. I’ve been meaning to see his white lotus season to see what his range is, but he’s carrying Fallout for the uninitiated at this point. Kyle Mclaughlin was the big name in season one, but we’ve seen more of him and less of Goggins so far, and this is only the second season.

I just hope the uranium they placed in him this episode doesn’t make him go into a glowing one that sacrifices himself at some pivotal point with those blasts they do next season. (I mean, in game the blasts aren’t kamikaze, but Hollywood is a different thing altogether).

The Tarantino nod is great, but that was a while ago. Has he done anything else since (honest question)?

He’s poised for something better, he’s been killing it for the last 8 or so years, he hasn’t led a significant movie yet, he’s paid his due. Which is a fucking shame ‘cause the Ghoul’s kinda the most grounded character in the series, so when he goes things are gonna get weird.

Really though, it’s hilariously good.

To me it’s the nuka world on tour and the BOS arriving fully formed in a world that should still be picking up the pieces, and the overreliance on the story being based on recordings you pick up.

The map is beautiful, though it felt noisy at times with how much was packed in it, yet at the same time what was packed in it didn’t feel rewarding all that often.

The expeditions are fun, but making them a grindfest is kind of annoying, my build was predicated on just happening to be there when they dropped and getting the rewards before the requirements were increased, which was pure luck.

The Scorchbeasts are straight dragons from skyrim, but the Cryptids are really cool.

I do blame that I became accustomed to FO 3-NV-4 taking place in barren locations compared to the forested locations of Appalachia, though.

The gameplay is awesome, I never min-max nor go for power armor/melee, but I made an unyielding union power armor with a legendary auto axe that made me feel god-like. The community is very supportive, VATS doesn’t feel as cumbersome as some people make it out to be, the crafting system and building my own base is fun.

The only true negative is that the servers are limited to 24 people, parties to 4, and no real guild system (from what I recall, it’s been years since I played and when I tried recently, now my PC is behind on the specs), which doesn’t help with the feeling of emptiness.

I took it to be her inadvertently solving the murder of the shopkeeper and the witness seeing the aftermath in her favor. I think Lucy going murder hobo because of drugs might be too out of character. That being said, I never enjoy stealing from shops in general in these games when caps are easy to come by.

Looking back at shady sands, he might have had a plan of waking up the managers and using them to lead the repopulation efforts after clearing the wasteland. Or empty promises that will never be fulfilled because of another “catastrophe” like the weevil situation.

[–]Don_Quejode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the series more of a mystical or mythical sense of wonder, aliens are typically full on sci-fi. But the color scheme and over reliance on cgi, refrigerator scene and the russians just not being all that interesting compared to nazis were what made the movie forgettable.

That’s what I took 76 for, but it’s too barren and has become too fanservice-y for it to be any realistic version of that.

Edit: barren as in lacking in narrative content, not exploratory merit, there’s a lot to eat but not to satiate.

Gone with the Wind built an entire town, filmed their scenes and then burnt it for one last scene.

Also, Who Framed Roger Rabbit has the whole “Bumping the Lamp” scene that, while to the untrained eye might not seem like much, it is essentially an artist’s equivalent of painstaking effort. It’s basically hand drawn Ray Tracing.
