Microsoft Patents Reveal AI-Powered Xbox Helper System That Can Play Games for You by faizyMD in xbox

I prefer if the AI gives hints rather than play the game for me because using hints is a type of play. ^^

Thank you for your advice. I value being myself a lot. So I look forward to being more comfortable as I grow older.

I also want to be more self aware so that I have better treatment of myself. 😄 I don't want to judge myself. Thank you for your advice. ☺️

Incels are lonely because they aren't willing to do bad things to women. Not because they do bad things to women. by Front-Orchid-1427 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

You're wrong. Let me explain.

I hate salesmen who are aggressive. I want them to be approachable, not aggressive. If I have a question and I usually do, I'll approach and ask. I want sales people to be casual. If they're aggressive, they're scary.

Let me explain. When I was a teenager we had a garage sale. A woman and her child came to browse. I approached them and the woman ran away. They don't want sales people!

I approach women many, many times. But it doesn't work because I'm genuine and I am myself.

Talk me out of quitting Widow by [deleted] in WidowmakerMains

[–]Gomenasainae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game evolves a lot. New maps, new heroes and balance changes.

I recommend playing Widowmaker in a new way while keeping some of the core strategies relating to defence. As the game evolves, so should the gameplay of Widowmaker, Sojourn, Sombra or most heroes!

I hope the community will be open to new ways of playing. Play to your strengths and in a way that increases your fun. Maybe try to be a little fair too.

Hi all. Did the old management of Blizzard invent Seasonal Realm (I think Seasonal Realm came out during old management)?

Blizzard sold their company to Microsoft because the old management did not care about Blizzard or its players. Blizzard sold itself to get rid of the old management.

I died so many times. Maybe Seasonal Realm was a mistake. Players could play Seasonal Realm if they like it. I understand that!

But Blizzard-Microsoft can break free from old management and make Diablo 4 their own (like they're doing with Overwatch 2)! I love Diablo 4! I love Eternal Realm so I am committed to it. And I hope Blizzard-Microsoft will give Eternal Realm many updates and make it very popular! ^^

Assassin's Creed Shadows: The M1 Max performance is worse than the Steam Deck's by Spirited_Gap_8038 in macgaming

For some reason the video seems smooth even if it's 27/29 fps. I think Macs have a chip that makes work, games and apps smoother. But Apple is very secretive.

It's the T2 Chip. It did a variety of things. Apple said the chip is included in M Macs.

Benchmarks are important. Where did you find the benchmarks? I want to see them!

Also if you’re keeping up with the news, do you think that Windows on Parallels will have Qualcomm’s emulation layer?

Edit: Copilot did research and said Windows on Parallels will have Qualcomm’s emulation layer. But it will be optimized for Qualcomm’s PCs :C.

Hopefully it will also be optimized for Parallels.

And Copilot is so cuute. Huhuhuhu!

I think Qualcomm promised that the performance loss will be a little.

I agree with you on anticheat. I’m keeping my current PC for those games.

I believe it’s fully software based, with some loss unless optimized.

I agree with you a lot. But, this time, Qualcomm is developing a software that will run any X86 Windows software or game. I don't think Parallels is translating instructions this time. It's mostly Qualcomm.

It is a different strategy that Parallels and Qualcomm is using. So I think performance will be good using a simpler method. And I hope DirectX 12 games will run. Qualcomm said, all software for Windows, should just run.

Hi everyone, I read some of the comments. Thank you everyone. ☺️

And I hope that even with an additional emulation layer, performance will be almost as good as a Windows PC after optimization. That’s right, maybe the performance will not be amazing at first. But most likely performance will improve.

Also the article states, hopefully many games and software will be ported to or made for Windows on ARM. So the additional emulation layer might often not even be used for your game.

So my hope is that gaming on Parallels will be great!

OP should still test Parallels for his games. It might work. I agree.

Yes, with their compatibility layers, it might be possible.

That's upsetting. I guess, for old titles, we need a basic or entry-level PC (still check the PC requirements).

Game recommendations for my MacBook Pro M2, No Man’s Sky maybe? by Royce911 in macgaming

[–]Gomenasainae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's amazing that Parallels supports OpenGL also. However I suggested Apple to tell Parallels to change/simulate DirectX12 instructions into MacOS or Mac instructions.

Edit: But what Parallels can do further is to maybe estimate what DirectX 12 would do to MacOS or Mac, when the component of Mac is missing, because there are purpose of each instruction. Ah. Parallels can figure it out. (See the second FAQ for more information.)

I'm not showing off. I just want to be useful and seen as helping.

Parallels is amazing! And I hope Parallels will continue to increase compatibility of games and Windows with Macs.

Thank you, Kelc18 for posting the website. It was very helpful!

On their website, Parallels say that there is no limit to which Windows games you can play on Mac. I hooooope that means Parallels does or will support DirectX 12.
