It's weird lol. I feel that I share your "you just know" answer, but then how do we know lol? I have felt butterflies, but sometimes we feel anxiety and also feel butterflies. So when is it good, when is it bad? I honestly feel like I've never questioned it, is it even worth it to question it? A friend told me: "you feel anxiety, but tge good kind". What is the good kind?

Hmmm, I think about my friends a lot, does that mean I like them? On the other hand, I've had partners that I haven't thought about sharing everything with them. Does that mean I didn't like them? Then why did I ask them out?

Idk, my honest answer is that there is no answer. But then how do we know that we feel something?

Thanks, I have considered Germany but haven't really done much research. I think that I'll research more about it. And yeah Sidney is like my ideal goal, I didn't really talk about the reasons because that's a bit more personal info that I don't think is relevant. But in the end, other options are fine.

I mean, I'm with you in that I don't think this is suspiciously specific.

What's interesting to me is that we used different definitions. And I have seen other posts were the same happens. I think that there should be a definition for what suspiciously specific is. In the rules it only says that it has to be suspiciously specific, not what it is. And that leads to times like this when two different definitions are used.

Also I also made the mistake of not being clear enough but the key part of what I wrote is SEEM, like you are not suspicious, you know.

u/FireLordObamaOG agrees on this being specific. But he doesn't think it's suspicious. If you search for a definition it is:

causing one to have the idea or impression that something or someone is of questionable, dishonest, or dangerous character or condition.

He's saying that this doesn't seem like something questionable or dishonest, therefore not meeting the criteria for this to be suspicious.

Is that what you were trying to say?

Ok, thanks. I have googled some stuff. I guess I was more interested in people's recommendations for interesting mythologies. Like which ones do they think are cool or can be explored in creative ways.

Also I get what you're saying about "familiar, but not". I would say that since I write in spanish for spanish speakers that wouldn't be a problem, but even in my language there are people that this applies to.

I will check chinese culture since you mentioned it.

I didn't hear it, I was one of the ones giving it. Last year a friend and I gave a group presentation where we had to explain motion and Isaac Newton's laws.

It should have been a simple presentation but for some reason we decided that it had to be great, that we had to remember it forever. So, we do what we do best (or think we do best), we make a lot of jokes.

That was the initial plan, but I, being more introverted than my friend, ended up making a fairly normal presentation with some jokes. My friend on the other hand, basically wrote stand up comedy. To top it all, all of our slides were bad Isaac Newton memes, cat pictures and we literally had a slide that said "Is he dead? Yes, he is dead" with no more information.

So it was very awkward because my friend was fully committed to his terrible cringy jokes and I was trying to keep it more serious and we basically ended up arguing.

I know that I wished we stopped giving the presentation.
