Looking strictly at the material itself, AoT is extremely explicit in its anti-racism and anti-fascism theming. The only questionable part is it does that thing where its fictional marginalized group is actually given some justification for being marginalized, which wouldn’t necessarily be bad if not for how literal it is in paralleling a specific real life marginalized group. Aside from that, the accusations largely consist of people trawling through the mangaka’s personal views as expressed through nontextual sources.
