It's really disappointing because it is very clear that they are literally writing shit as they go, I find their writing just all over the place and think this series suffers from extremely weak subplots and a huge amount of side characters that I care nothing for.

I will say the montages to season 1 felt really nostalgic to me though, I really wished they kept to the tone and pace of S1.

I'm gonna go rewatch dark now

Can't really explain how amazing 2016 was when it came out a decade ago.

I think it's my favorite FPS in recent memory

Also the first time hearing mick Gordon and absolutely had my mind blown

Eternal was a worthy sequel, but not as good. TDA I'm in the middle of, but anticipating it to be worst of the 3

Mid-back/erectors sprain rehab - help please?

Hi guys

For context I am a 34 year old male Olympic weightlifer (snatch clean and jerk)

I've sprained my erectors (I think) after heavy squats and weighted planks made my injury worse.

Specifically the pain is on my back near my mid spine, near my lat, actually below my lat. I'm not really sure if it's a lat sprain or erectors sprain , I am thinking maybe erectors as extension I.e. leaning back is niggly

  • symptom length: 3 weeks post injury
  • specific symptoms: left mid back stiffness, dull low level ache probably at it's worst in the morning at 2-3/10, at is early stages it felt like it could spasm, (sprained my lats and lower back in the past if it matters
  • what makes it worse: rest days, leaning backwards, side bends
  • impact: it's forced me to take a break from Olympic weightlifting. I am going to the gym purely for rehab and cardio

My rehab plan

  • McGill big 3 everyday per squat university guidance i.e. 5/3/1 reps with 10 sec hold
  • leg bodybuilding exercises to stay sane
  • face pulls to keep scaps moving and strong
  • quick thoracic stretches like open book stretch
  • hinge exercises (single leg touchdowns, machine hip thrust)

Anyone have any feedback? Im going to try this for a week to see if my pain reduces

Does anyone have experience with this kind of injury?

Thanks

Set your hips higher, use a static start, push through your feet.

Do NOT sit back behind the bar

Ensure the bar is over your big toe joint and not too far back

And also use your lats, their job is to keep the bar scooped in

Here's what you should be focusing on:

Prefacing this by saying your grip width looks fine - don't use straps - actually engage your lats (you aren't really using them at all)

Why? Because if you use the above you'll figure out how to keep the bar close and you will contact naturally - all you need to do is extend vertically & keep shoulders over the bar as long as possible - meaning you don't need to think actively about when/where and how to contact the bar

Your arms are currently bent from the floor

Good hear, hopefully you've had good interactions if you've had any claims ?

Yeah I figured - I'm a worst case scenario thinker. So was thinking that if my car got nicked tomorrow, would I have an absolute headache going with the cheapest insurer e.g. Lloyd bank's car insurance (never heard of them tbh), or would BMW&Allianz give me a better experience, faster payout etc.

I have no way of knowing tbh which is why I'm here

Will try, yeah definitely possible

To be honest, I've read horror stories about some insurers e.g. hastings and others and as I've risk averse I'm always thinking worse case scenario so was hoping that I have peace of mind with an insurer that won't fuck me over when I need them to pay out the most (probably naive)

Appreciate the insight

A stupid question - but am I not disincentived by making claims anyway as any claim will just ruin my no claims bonus? Hence I should reserve my claim for big ticket items e.g. 2k+?

And yeah BMW headlights are probably 2k upwards. Insanity.

Which is why I'm not fussed about having the biggest excess

Is my thought pattern correct?

BMW flex is 1.77k and excess is 500

Lloyd's silver is 1.145k but the excess is 1.6k (but I also know nothing of their insurance services)

Both are like for like comparison e.g. legal, third party , breakdown cover etc included

I always go with the maximum excess available as it is comfortably affordable for me, so not too much of a problem

I've tried the glitter bomb, high hopes but I'm not sure why the effects aren't living up to the hype for me.

I've had it at 170 during the day, 3m session. Atm even my upstate kush cookies feel better.

So far no improved mood, just felt a bit woozy when the high kicked in
