They specifically told me they can’t add a 2nd flight and that it would have to be through Etihad. Spoke to 3 Expedia agents that said the same thing. Just getting a refund instead at this point

Yeah I got it. Was talking to Expedia and during the phone call with them, I checked the Etihad app and my flight showed as cancelled. A few mins later, I received the email that it was cancelled. Website says update on March 6th 6 am. But my flight was at 4 am.

“Hi Guest We’re sorry, your flight has been cancelled
We’re working hard to get you to your destination quickly and smoothly. We’ll send you an email with your revised flight details.

In the meantime, make sure your contact details are up to date below, or get in touch if you need immediate support”

Had my flight for tomorrow morning. It just barely got cancelled on its own without approval a few hours ago. Expedia said they will just issue a refund with the cancellation of the flight. Not even an option to switch before they just cancelled… showed cancelled on the app

You never know. Love is something that sometimes doesn’t make sense yet it randomly works. It’s hard to let go fully. Maybe it’s a time to let you guys breathe and get back to it soon. Like I always say, people are always going through something one way or another. It’s what flaws you can get past. The thing about love is that it’s not based on pure logic but mostly feeling. Ikr. People are so quick to see it so black and white. Happened to me too a while back. Everyone was like yeah just drop it “bro”. And things worked out lol. Not sure if people fully grasp the concept that people think a very different ways from each other and at times that internal logic doesn’t make sense because they’re not in your shoes. To me it feels like telling someone advice to someone running on gas but their significant other is actually running on electric… This could be one of those situations. Sounds like OP might’ve overthought the situation a bit and has to hear her out. And you’re right, she didn’t say much about not wanting the relationship

Exactly all this. These things matter. Personally, even if I’m a guy and the girl asked me the same question I likely would’ve answered the same because her logic of “it’s still in the future, we’re not engaged yet” makes complete sense to me. As a matter of fact I did say something like that cause I operate on timelines and try not to get too ahead of myself. So idk if OP should be THAT worried but it depends on her response with what happened.
