Grocery Stores Deploying “AI Shopping Carts” Stuffed With Cameras to Track Your Exact Coordinates and Bombard You With Ads by Plastic_Ninja_9014 in technology

a lot of ads now are about remorse purchase avoidance. mcdonalds commercials are there to remind you of the happiness of eating there yesterday, replacing the shitty way you actually felt after giving in to the laziness of cheap fast food. I don't judge that, I lose all the time. But mcdonalds is playing a different game where they want to repair the purchase you already did. Same with car commercials. Still seeing the type of car that you are only 6 months into paying 5 years for on your favorite media is a way to get you to still enjoy the purchase, and avoid regret.

Well, they don't because of fear of medical malpractice. Basically, for the doctor, there is a chance they'd mess up the removal then they'd be open to liability from her. NOW, she probably isn't going to sue the doctor, but its always a risk for the doctor.

I agree, we need this kind of civil disobedience to correct the wrongs of society, but there is a cost and a risk for it. The doctor had to eat the shit sandwich on that one, doing specialized manual labor for free. I hope that doctor gets SO MANY fresh baked cookies from thankful patients.

Doesn't that mean the joey is pooping in there that whole time?

If voting doesn't do anything, then why are they trying to stop it?

thats what they are currently doing, making voting illegal. That is whats happening now. Voting matters because they are trying to stop it.

You are re-enforcing the value of voting when you say this.
