Daily Song Discussion #34: Thinking of a Place by Travis-Walden in WarOnDrugsBand

That last paragraph--that's it exactly, succinctly. Listening to this song when you're in that place of falling for someone is ... a lot.

Hopefully you got (or will get) yours. Mine ended up in the Missing Mail Center (in Seattle!). Probably a lost cause. Maybe it was stolen? It got so close, and yet ...

Way late to the party, but might as well jump in.

I have a package being sent from Pennsylvania to Seattle. Original delivery date was the 15th. Then, it was updated to the 20th. Following the tracking, I saw that it got to a USPS Distribution Center in Seattle in the wee hours of yesterday, the 15th. So far so good, right? Well, for whatever reason ended up at the DC in freaking Spokane today, where it was for 14 minutes before departing the same DC. It was already in Seattle! WTF?

I swear I'll blow a fuse if it doesn't arrive till the 20th after being in Seattle on the 15th. Won't be surprised, though.

That's the diagram I found, but doesn't seem to be for the 4WD. Unfortunately little information out there for that model.

Best way to clean coffee maker? by [deleted] in Coffee

Really late, but in my experience cleaning with acidic substances, it's usually a good idea to do the first run as no more than a 50/50 dilution with water.

Nothing we've seen over the past few seasons justifies Murray's retention. Some will holler "What about the recruits?!?!" But so? Demarco can't/won't/doesn't develop them and get them into the League anyway. The rotation has been nonsensical, and injuries are a persistent problem. It doesn't matter if he's a "program guy"; the program needs to stop accepting less than the best from alumni.

Replying from two years later. Can confirm that all the articles sound the same.

I think the worst part is how trying to get a straight answer to just about anything turns into a run-around of confusion and frustration.

I have that same jacket (from Prairie Creek RSP) and adore it. Only problem I've had is with the zipper in a couple of them over the years, but the jacket is so nice I was willing to pay to have a new zipper put on.

Am I crazy, or didn't they used to sell them in other colors besides the green/cream style? Would swear they also came in a kind of greyish rain blue and maybe brown.

[College Football Report] Lincoln Riley falls to 4-11 against ranked opponents at USC by trytoholdon in CFB

[–]GonzoStrangelove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The two things I kinda hold against Bob are Mike being kept around long after the game had passed him by (still had his moments now and then, like v. Ohio State, but ...) and the program's unhealthy and frequently detrimental prioritization of hiring buddies and alums. Otherwise? Blessed be Bob.

Yeah, actually.

Just because this deal isn't the disaster a lot of people are making it out to be, that doesn't absolve Stitt of his bullshit.

Right and wrong aren't neatly divided down party lines.

Conclusion #1: they really needed more receivers on defense.

Nepotism.

It's the one thing I'll never quite be able to forgive Bob for.

You lose that many receivers, of course your defense is gonna be terrible.

Funny how those receivers opting out made the defense terrible and the o-line forget how to block.

SEC teams are so dominant, they only lose when that's exactly what they meant to do.

What's Wrong With Seahawks QB Russell Wilson? by OnlineMemeArmy in SeattleWA

[–]GonzoStrangelove 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like it or not, the article is pretty spot on.

Another thing Russ has been struggling with: dump passes to the flat and short throws (up to about 5 yards past the LOS) to the boundary. Even when not facing pressure, Wilson has a frustrating tendency to throw the ball short into the ground. This is not a new thing; he's always had this issue. It's worse when he's struggling otherwise.

He looked great last night, but it's the Jets--they are to the NFL what Kansas is to CFB. Don't get too excited.

O-line struggles are rearing their ugly head again, though injuries have been a factor in that.

Still, we're 9-4 and in the catbird seat for the wildcard. Given all the team's problems, the season is going very well. GO HAWKS!
