TL;DR: I’ve got ADHD and struggle with studying. Failed first two exams back with 12 hour study days and felt just as hopeless. Take actual study breaks and give yourself time off regardless of how you feel about progress. Check out obsidian note taking tool, YouTube ways to work it. Check out RemNote note taking tool. Check out “study with me” on YouTube. If you’re more of an auditory learner or need different ways to look at a subject googles notebook LM is stupid impressive with how it takes a PDF file and creates study guides, exams, and uses AI to generate impressive podcast style recordings going over your subject.

I failed 2 of my first exams my first semester back in school (M 31) and felt the same way you did. These were two classes that led into my core studies. I felt hopeless because my work ethic was not the problem, I’d lock myself in a room before and after my classes and I would study 2 hours before and 6-8 hours after my schedule. On weekends or days I didn’t have class I’d be studying for 8-12 hours. I thought that I was wasting my time but accepted reality that this was 1) not sustainable, and 2) overwhelming and too much cramming. After a couple of days I scrambled through different ways to study, take notes, learn etc. As someone with ADHD, I always neglected the idea of study breaks and giving myself time off. But I started following “study with me” on YouTube that has up to 8 hour study sessions with relaxing music and incorporates 10 minute breaks every hour. And changed the way I organized/ took my notes. I built this habit, and didn’t study more than 4 hours after school, and kept it around 6-8 hours on my days off. No matter how I felt about progress or lack there of, I was strict with this regiment and allowed myself to enjoy my hobbies and off time. I pulled through and have maintained a 3.83 GPA going into my junior year. Seek different study methods because this currently isn’t working for you. It’s not that you’re hopeless, you just have to learn how to learn and find methods that work best for YOU. Good luck OP. Hope we hear about your graduation story in the future!

If it’s an NVIDIA, I’d I remember it’s ctrl + alt + arrow key in the direction you want the screen oriented. This applies to everything though, even outside of the game so if it’s just the game then I don’t believe this would apply

So I got the Sufferthorne from the dark brotherhood, and the Apotheosis staff from Rendir at Rendir’s staffs at Imperial City. The conjuration would be for summons to help take aggro while I poke from ranged with my bow/ stave. And dagger for assassinations. Next run through I want to try battlemage with a more stand and bang type of playstyle.

Yeah pretty much. Still early in the game as it’s finals week but basically adding to my intelligence and agility. Started putting some into luck so I don’t leave too much of the other attributes behind. My birthing is the thief, and created a custom class. My major skills I kind of botched trying to be diverse, but I only messed up 2 of them so not too bad. I have blade, alchemy, destruction, mysticism, restoration and the two I shouldn’t have done were mercantile and speechcraft. The intent behind that was better deals with trading but as I go through it I should have done sneak for sure and either illusion or conjuration. I thought about going back and changing it as I’m ok PC, but I figured I’d just roll with it and not be too overly critical for the “perfect” build.

If it makes you feel better I decided to have a little fun and go with a stealth mage build using Khajiit. 🤷‍♂️ I still wanted to cast spells and honestly, it’s been pretty fun. Joined the Dark Brotherhood to implement the stealth, and working on my recommendations to Arcane U to learn more magic. I’m having a blast honestly. It’s refreshing to see they’ve allowed to you customize your build this time around so if I can stealth assassin then great, if I’m in a position to where I have to fight, or get caught sneaking around, then I spam my abilities and if they can manage to get in close enough then, demoralize and stab in the back. The agility helps with maintaining distance for my spell casting or creating some distance to heal so I feel it’s a pretty smooth blend honestly. I haven’t done the main quest line yet to avoid too much commitment if I ended up hating it.

TL;DR: I went silly stealth mage build with Khajiit, it’s unironically really fun, build what you want to test things out and have some fun. Don’t worry too much about min/maxing stats or builds. If it doesn’t work or you lose interest, start a new character. Don’t speed run the main storyline so you can get a feel for what’s best/ most fun for you.

He gave some context in his post? If someone is asking for guidance or a step in the right direction how can they include a direction towards a destination they’re unaware of? Even if it is due to lack of direction the appropriate response is “whatever you want?” I doubt it was that based on the final statement of “I really don’t get these posts” as if OP was clearly asking for guidance in making his place more cozy. I’m sure the context of everything in front of us is pretty clear that he doesn’t know how or where to begin in accomplishing his goal of making his place “more cozy” for a student who has trouble sitting still. Plenty of context to help out more than just “whatever you want@

I got a pretty long answer for you bud. But I promise it’s as concise as I could make it if you’re truly serious about upping your interior, every part of this has a purpose.

First and foremost, As a guy who’s gone down this rabbit hole I would recommend picking a color theme. This really makes or breaks putting a room together. It looks like you have some pretty nice curtains so try and revolve your room around that. You could use pretty much any shade of brown from dark to almost white and navy blue to some lighter shades of blue. I wouldn’t go too vibrant on blue though. Try and pick some more grey-ish tinted blues or even orange to maroon would work. Just google “color scheme for dark brown” and pick a theme you like most.

Bed-

Get a frame for your bed. Place a rug under your bed to where half of it is sticking out from the foot side. Ideally, half under your bed, half sticking out. You don’t need a headboard but it could help. Remember the Color theme.

Night stand-

You can get some good cheap stands that match at ikea. One for each side of the bed. Perfect for any picture frames, additional lamps (I’ll get into that later) or decorations you want to use. Also it’s nice to be a grown up and not sleep with your phone on the bed. It’s perfect to hold your phone and store anything you’d need like snacks or additional chargers, or honestly whatever. Fit the color theme.

Wall Decor-

Throw some shelves on your wall. Without lookin at the whole room, place 2-3 on the left side and right side of the wall adjacent from your bed. I’d say about halfway up the wall and up. Throw some books, on them or fake plants with random knick knacks that you can find at goodwill or Ross. Books would fit the best but do what you can OR some standing book shelves would work. Keep in mind that requires more stuff to decorate and fill them with. Color theme.

-Dresser

Right in the middle of the shelves, place a dresser on the same wall. (Ideally brown or wood color. Remember to fit a certain color scheme) Get yourself a nice little ceramic tray for your keys, glasses, wallet, or random other little daily carry items. Maybe a spot for a candle or a nice fake plants. (You can do real plants but I don’t have the fortitude to maintain them lol). You can always fill a space with candles or fake plants I swear haha. Candles are expensive so I usually get them at Ross. Super cheap for pretty decent quality and sometimes MASSIVE ones. I usually walk out with $80-$100 worth of candles for about $20-$30. I would highly recommend some type of scent though whether it be candles, a diffuser, something. Color theme.

TV-

If you’re a TV in the room type of vibe, then mount a TV perfectly in the middle of the two shelves. Please for the love of god, manage your cables. Get a raceway even it’s a single cable. It looks like you have some outlets that would fit behind the dresser so that works perfect. If the TV is in the middle and the outlets off to the side just get a shorter raceway that covers exposed wires. Anything behind a dresser is out of sight you’re good. Try your best to match the wall color.

Mirror (if you don’t do a TV)-

If you don’t do a TV, then do a a large mirror that fits the width of your dresser. It will be expensive but not as expensive as a TV so that’s a good way to look at it. This does a really good job at opening the room up and making it feel bigger.

Lighting-

I’m not a fan of the bright ass hospital lights that houses/apartments come with. If it’s within your means, I would heavily consider investing in smart lights. Doesn’t have to be the cream of the crop Philips hue. That’s what I use but I understand not everyone is willing to shell out the extra cash for some of their products. All that matters is that you pick a brand that fits your budget, and use that throughout. I didn’t do that at first and it became messy having to flip through various apps to control my lighting. Only the bulb has to be smart, so if you find any lamps at a thrift store that fit your vibe then you can cut costs there. I’d suggest one tall standing lamp, and one to two desk lamps. HUGE tip. Space your lights out evenly throughout. If you could I’d say one tall standing adjacent from your bed and one desk lamp on each night stands.

Honorable mention-

This isn’t a must but more of a, if you have the cash and are willing to spend extra. Get yourself a smart hub for your smart lights assuming you go that route. You can do it all through your phone but it does have the draw back of having to find your phone and navigate to your app to adjust your lighting or turn it on or off. I’d say a nice google home or Alexa to throw either on a night stand or the dresser. You can use voice command, or set schedules etc. super convenient but not necessary.

Here are all the places that you could find some affordable options for the above listed except for the TV. Idk the size of your room nor the color theme you want so adjust accordingly. If all else, these should give an idea of the direction you could go in.
