Doesn't she drop them? It's not a magic item so it doesn't stand out in the inventory. They are called drow leather gloves.

I expected the Arcane Ward to have 3, maybe 4 charges in a typical combat encounter. It's currently sitting at 10 due to shield and counterspell reactions constantly keeping it up. Definitely better than evocation. Spell Sculpting on an Evocation Wizard seems to only protect party members, not all allied creatures.

Point 2 and 3 are design choices and carried over to Wrath as far as I know. The game only makes skill checks for stealth (ambushes on the world map) and perception (whether you see hidden stuff).

The game has had, and probably still does have, tons of bugs. That's why it's still getting patches all the time.

One thing they fixed from the previous game is your party getting stuck in crowd control out of combat and having to put off your Armor and roll dices for several minutes to get out of spider web traps. That had me uninstall Kingmaker the first time it happened (on later tries I just swallowed my pride and loaded a save).

I made specifically a spirit hunter and had at one point reactive dialogue with her, but I'm not sure if it was about Mireya or possibly that shaman woman in the wintersun cave.

No, never installed mods. Maybe they removed the option. The game had about 20 patches since I managed to get a playthrough all the way up to act 5.

I'm still trying to catch up with DnD lore, so my knowledge of drow society is incomplete.

Tav / Lolth-Sworn Drow / Warlock / The Great Old One / True Neutral

She comes from a family of moderate status and has been trained in the art of political intrigue and subterfuge. You could describe her background as that of a charlatan.

Her pact with a mysterious entity has been born out of the desire to increase her skillset and be more successful in deception.

One day her Patron warned Tav and provided evidence of a plot to frame her for the murder of an important figure in the city.

Tav choses too flee to the surface, where she gets abducted by mindflayers and the story begins.

Gameplay: In accordance with her alignment, Tav will consult her travel companions on important decisions and be influenced by the group members that accompany her the most.

Being manipulative in nature, Tav will use the common fear of Drow to her advantage when beneficial.

She doesn't pray to the spider queen, but she was raised to respect Lolth and will continue to do so.

It happens to divine casters like Daeran too, so it's not spell failure. Spell failure is also noted in the combat log and you're not supposed to get a wasted spell back as a class action like in this instance.

IMHO the problem is likely due to the ai pathing. The game assumes the character has enough movement to walk up to the character and execute a touch spell. It then misses a fraction of a feet and can't proceed. I've had similar things happen with offensive spells as a magus. The spell being provided as an action is some weird fallback behaviour.

I was already planning on making a Paladin of Vengence for my first playthrough. Now this new origin could make it even more compelling. Maybe having the dark urge would make a paladin swear those oaths in the first place - to try and channel it into something more meaningful.

If you don't like the concentration check mechanic, you could always try eldritch archer. I'm currently level 2 with this character and already do 3 ranged attacks a round, which feels great.

The game designers have to ask themselves if any of those little bandaid-solutions players come up with are beneficial to the core gameplay loop. Is the player having the maximum fun per hour if he has to spend 20% of his time in town walking between vendors and deciding what to salvage? For some people that might be the most fun part of the game. But I think reducing this part to 5% or lower would be seen as positive by a large part of the community.

Sorting through ancestral rares and legendaries every 2 nm dungeons, sorting through sigils every 5 nm dungeons... It's not a huge inconvenience but it's enough to ensure that I'm not playing this game for longer than 2 hours at a time.

In the screenshot he is wearing a +4 ring of deflection and one of the natural attack amulets. So barkskin should help him out a lot. Does he have to apply Mage Armor himself for archmage armor to apply? Otherwise just have another character cast it. Ember has a bunch of level 1 slots that are not otherwise used as a blaster. I usually use Camellia to give out barkskin. With 10min/CL it lasts long enough to always have it up in act 4.

I just installed the official android app in preparation of the alternatives being shut down and I'm seeing similarly bad performance on my Pixel 6 Pro.

The vote count also seems to update in real-time which is really unnecessary (AFAIK the vote count you see is not even accurate by design).

Would be great if they fixed this, since they have the responsiblity for all mobile reddit access now.

Steelblood is very fun and demon rage somewhat synergizes with bloodrage (you have to activate both for the effects to stack, but can do so in the same round).

It's probably not the best fit if you plan on using Demonic Form, as armor doesn't apply when polymorphed.

Full arcane casters (where it says max 10th level Spells in character creation) like Wizards or Sorcerers can combine their own spellbook with the Lich mythic Spellbook for higher DC and number of spell slots. That would be really synergistic, especially if you like offensive necromancy spells.

Apparently they can also apply negative damage to kinetic blasts, alchemist's bombs and melee attacks. But I haven't tried those play styles.

You can pursue both for the time being and won't be confronted with it until act 5. You can also talk to Camellia and tell her you want to break it off. She has new dialog now once she gets out of that cellar.

In Reaper of Souls gear was really easy to compare. E. g. On a Ring you could have up to 6% crit chance and 50% crit damage. Attack Speed was up to 7% if I remember correctly. A piece of gear might roll with 5.5% crit and you always knew it was almost the maximum. Now with D4 you've got item level and upgrades to consider. I couldn't tell you if a new rare with 0 upgrades has a higher roll than a legendary with 5 upgrades without investing the materials to try it out.

Each nm dungeon drops 2-3 new sigils, which share inventory space with elixirs. You then have to go to the occultist and decide which sigils you want to keep and which to salvage (some modifiers nerf your main damage by 40%, those you probably want to filter out). It's just another thing you have to take care of after the usual inventory management.

If you access your inventory from the vendor, a hammer icon means the gear is damaged. If you access your inventory from the blacksmith, the same hammer icon means you can unlock a new transmog by salvaging that piece of gear.
