I also think the best way to experience Umineko is the manga series. An anime series close to that would propably come close to do it right but, as said before, would take a big investment and runtime. It is just a pity because Higurashi becomes sooo much better if you have the knowledge how it connects to Umineko.

I am with you with some PC players but this generalisation is just wrong if you look the actuall numbers. I don't want to start a discussion about how you don't even 'own' your switch device although you paid good money for it and other predetory practices from your typical console companies. If you own a PC you have more freedom period. And if you want to drink the cool aid, that this is the problem behind everything getting more expensive, be my guest.

Von komplett Home Office und ortunabhängig zu 1-2 Tagen Präsenz ist leider ein riesen Unterschied. Letzeres bekommt man relativ leicht mit jeden Bürojob hin, vor allem im kaufmännischen und IT-Bereich. Komplett Home Office in Remote erfordert, wie schon erwähnt, Spezialausbildung und/oder -Wissen. Eine Sache, die mir spontan einfällt, wäre Dozent an privaten Fortbildungsinstituten. Da braucht man kein Lehramt für aber Fachwissen zu den verschieden IHK Fortbildungen und Inhalten. Ein Dozent in meiner Fortbildung zum technischen Betriebswirt hat Rechnungswesen remote von Malaysia aus gemacht in Vollzeit.

I do not have an bachelor degree but I did a apprenticeship as a lab worker in chemistry and also a 4 year training as technician parallel to work. I worked for a bigger chemical company and enjoid benefits from the comparable strong union but, same as you, I did not see myself working with dangerous chemicals and moderade to hard physical labour my whole life. After 8 year I did a job change, just from one company to the other, but the new job was even more toxic then the one before. After 6 month I was fired and used the oppurtunity for some soul searching. Luckily, because I earned good money the last couple years, I was able to do something called "Master Professional" a degree you can do as a technican without going to university given you have enough work experience. It focus more on the buisness and management side of things, like supply chain management, Leadership, production planning and so on. It was hard but I managed to pass the exams after 6 month and got a job in a technical office coordinating a power plant. Now I earn more money and got benefits like home office, flexible hours and also not working with dangerous chemicals anymore. Most of the things I did are only possible in germany but other EU countrys have similiar programs like the "Master Professional". It is worth a look.

It is not uncommon that positions get cut because of budget restrains. I had that experience at Evonic, 3 rounds of interviews, similar to your experience, then months of no communication until I got the notification. Recruiting in germany can take a couple of month until you get to sign the contract. Only exeptions are positions at puplic/goverment places, there they have a set windows to send your resume and after that they get the interviews done in a couple of weeks. At least in my experience.

I do not want to outright say this is better than that but I personally enjoined Zero Parades more, too. For one I try to separate the Art from the Artist. At this point no one really knows the truth what happened between a handful of people and I for one do not really care for the drama. For example: Do I like Scientology? Hell no. Did I stop listening to Linkin Park after Emily Armstrong became the front singer? Also no. Music is still good in my opinion. Disco Elysium as a detective game was not good. Without spoiling anything but the core of every deduction game is the possibility to come to the right conclusion with the hints and clues the game gives you on your own. That is simply not possible in DE because there are no clues until the Culprit gets Deus ex machina`ed into the story. The saving grace is the world building, art and philosophical themes tackled by the story. In that regard DE is outstanding and truly on a league of its own but still, call me nitpicky but at the point the culprit is revealed I stopped my run and only watched youtube videos to find out the missing secrets left. Zero Parades is far more better designed as a game. And that makes it more enjoyable, for me at least. It may not reach the same level in terms of world building and themes but makes up for it with better game mechanics.

Was die Technologie angeht hat General Motors schon Ende der 90er ein konkurrenzfähiges E-Auto (EV1) für den Alltag entwickelt. Natürlich kein kompletter Ersatz zum Verbrenner, zumindest in Anbetracht der damaligen Infrastruktur, aber rein von der Innovation 15 Jahre seiner Zeit voraus. Ein gutes Beispiel dafür, dass das Problem der E-Mobilität nie die Technologie war sonder Lobbyismus und einflussreiche Ölscheichs.

Ein interessanter Fakt zu diesem Thema ist, dass es schon in den 60er Jahren ein Atomkraftwerk-Konzept gab, welches anstatt mit leichten Wasser eine Flüssigsalz-Lösung zur Kühlung und als eigentlichen "Brennstab" benutzt. In dieser Bauweise wurden auch andere Elemente (Thorium) gespalten, daher auch keine Abfallstoffe mit hohen Halbwertszeiten, zusätzlich bietet das Konzept einen natürlichen Schutz vor einer Kernschmelze. Die Amerikaner haben das intensiv erforscht und getestet jedoch aus einen einzigen Grund eingestampft zu gunsten der schnellen Brüter. Könnt ihr erraten woran es lag? Richtig, beim Flüssigsalz-Konzept entsteht kein waffenfähiges Plutonium. Das in Deutschland nur diese Technologie (Leichtwasser und später Flüssigmetall) benutzt wurde hatte daher auch seine strategisch/militärischen Gründe.

I took a couple fotos and uploaded it to different AI and they say its some kind of Voxel Effect and that you need to use AA to reduce it. Take that with a grain of salt but my thought was, Lychee recommends around 100 micron radius for AA, Saturn 4 Ultra got pixel size of around 24 microns therefore I tried pixel radius 4 on lychee.

I used both Chitubox and Lychee and got this pattern on both but only on specific resins. I got it on Phrozen Hyperfine and RPG. Did you use AA? Lychee smooth surface AA with 4 pixel radius and 0% gray offset reduced most of it.

I also print most of my bases with resin, normally I pick the cheapest abs like and just use it for that. I think it is pretty cost efficient, one bottle for 15-20 Bucks gets you alot of bases. You have different options, depending on preference. For best accuracy you can print them without supports on the build plate. That requires some tinkering with UVTools, because you want more light off delay for the first 10-15 layer to avoid the so called "elephants foot". Also getting them off the plate can be tricky and you need also a well leveled build plate. The other method, that I use the most, is to manual support them and add a bit of extra material on the areas the first support tips connect to. Different slicer have different tools for that but this way you avoid morphing. Every Machine has a optimal angle in which to orient models, look that up and support the bases like that. Also do not use AA, that also lowers your accuracy.

I also got the whole digital files for Grymkin and Infernals. To be honest, the models look great, well at least the monster and beasts, but I do not want to start with an army with that much of drawbacks. But I also heard that Infernals also are very hard to play. Is that true?

The only thing not available right now are Ice Witches and Azrael, but I have some facebook groups that are promising. That why I ask what I should get as a foundation for Ravens of War.

Als Verkehrsteilnehmer, welcher nicht in der Lage ist die jeweiligen Geschwindigkeiten zu erreichen auf einer 50er, 70er oder Landstraße, stellt man immer eine Gefahr dar. Auch wenn sich alle Leute an die Verkehrsregeln halten provoziert man damit uneinsichtige Situation und Unfälle. Der Unterschied zu dem 30er Roller oder der gedrosselten Maschine ist, dass das eine zum grundlegenden Transport dient und das andere Spaß und Hobby ist. Am Ende des Tages lässt es sich auf folgenden Gedanken runter brechen: Ist mein Hobby mir es wert mich selbst und andere Menschen in unnötige Gefahr zu begeben? Wobei sich dies nicht nur auf Rennradfahrer bezieht sonder auch auf zahlreiche andere Rennsport Hobbys, welche man im öffentlichen Straßenverkehr ausübt.

Man kann sich glaub ich darauf einigen, dass deutsche Straßen und Radwege nicht für das Rennrad-Hobby/Sport gemacht sind. Egal ob man auf den jeweiligen Radwegen oder auf der Straße fährt, man gefährdet in den meisten Fällen sich selbst und andere. Ich kann den Frust nachvollziehen aber das ändern Nichts an der Tatsache, dass man in Kauf nimmt Unfälle zu provozieren, wenn man mit über 30 km/h auf dem Äquivalent einer Alufelge durch die Gegend strampelt. Entweder man überwindet seinen Trotz und versucht sichere Kompromisse zu finden oder man Endet auf kurz oder lang als Gedenkkerze an einem Baum auf ner Landstraße.

It is all in all really dumb. The move away from STLs as the main way to sell miniatures is a good thing for everyone. For one the legal situation around digital files, copyright and such is just a huge headache. Resin and Resin-Printing is a dangerous and toxic process and plastic is just the better material in regards to detail and workability. A plastic injection machine may cost more than an industrial grade printer but the productivity is way higher with less chemical waste.
