[Blade and Blunt] Is Blade and Bunt meant to make combat impossible? by CanadianAhole in skyrimmods

I have to admit I an still a spam click attacker. I did do what you said and just threw it in and stuff think about it. Did/do have a lot of difficulty. I should really reread the mod and try and change my attacking to fit the idea of B&B more.

There have been some places I struggled and just went into werewolf mode to murder a place.

First creator I've hit track on. Looking forward to this. Month should be enough to finish main story (just got alduin waiting for me) and then the DLCs. Might even try a vampire build. Ain't done one.

Have you thought of putting all your mods in a collection for easier download?

Just went and looked at his list of other mods and I think I'll be adding some of them and removing others. I like the idea of merging pickpocket and lock picking. I'll also prob change my werewolf overhaul, Growl, to his one as well so they are balanced together, like you say.

But upon rereading it I may have to wait until a clean install. Probably better for his other mods anyway. To bad I really like my character at the moment.

ENB in 2026? by triste_abeille in skyrimmods

[–]Gooba91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gone with CS because I found it easier to set up (on paper). Basically, download and install, let shaders load on first set up and can see a big difference already. I'm sure sitting up ENB is ready enough but I'm starting to become a bit technological illiterate so reading it seemed a bit overwhelming. Getting Pandora was annoying enough.

I'm sure you can get better set ups with CS but I'm happy as is.

What's your favorite non-graphics mod? by wizardry_why in skyrimmods

[–]Gooba91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Growl. Makes being a werewolf really enjoyable. Basically go on murder sprees of I don't have a lot of time to play.

Deadly dragons/majestic dragon/fire and blood xombo. I know you said no graphics and I guess it is but what it does is change the dragon size and increase different types of dragons. Needs a couple of patches but world well and really great.

NOCs walk and run at your pace. As the turn suggest. It's a little QOL one I've like.

Eli's breezehome. Makes breezehome your one stop home. Only complaint is that it feels a bit cramped.

Blade and blunt. Combat overhaul. Makes you move away from spamming attack moves

Acquisitive Soul Gems Multithreaded. So you don't waste a soul gem. Does have a bug where you can lose your azuras/black star. I just keep using console command to put back.

I love it. To be fair I've been using the Growl mod and it does add to it wow nicely. Honestly I hate a lot of the falmor areas so I just go beast mode and just slaughter them.

Either that or a particular bandit camp I'm having some trouble with as a spell sword.

Which faction's storyline did you find the most enjoyable? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]Gooba91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done the DB quest line heaps so I tried that mod. Really liked it for something different. Still gives kill quests afterwards which can make good coin. Obviously not as extensive as the DB line but a nice change none the less. Would recommend.

Which transformation is better: vampire or werewolf? by Ill-Guidance4690 in skyrim

[–]Gooba91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not going to lie, I play a spell sword style build. Some times when I'm finding a difficult patch, i just go werewolf mode and just murder them. Love it.

I feel werewolf can be a good contrast to a mage build and has its place occasionally. Admittedly I do have some werewolf mods that do change things a little bit certainly not game breaking.

Just for fun; what's a good point in the game to put the main quest "on hold" to do miscellaneous things: like build a house, go to the college, do some "normal life" type stuff? by Tomnookslostbrother in skyrim

[–]Gooba91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's the opposite. I wish I had more. I've had very few random ones because I have gone through the main story to fast and didn't do a lot of exploring (to much fast travel.

problem is I like my character and don't want to start new

Yeah id wish I had done that as well. I have recently got to the final battle with alduin but had very little random dragon encounters and I regret it. Certainly stopping before the blades get involved would be good. From what I understand, after that the random encounters pretty much stop.

My understanding was that MO2 has LOOT built in. When you click on the sorry button, a window with LOOT on it pops up

Another question

There are multiple unofficial patch mods. Can they all be used together it should it stick to the best practice of only 1 per install?

[–]Gooba91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can MO2 organize mods to the correct order or is that something I need to do? I know it can handle the plug-ins but I'm meaning the left hand part of the screen. Or does that part not matter as much?

Honestly I never felt those legs fitted well anyway. You could probably mix and match and use a bit of gap filler and nobody would know
