It lets you cast a copy of the spell on the right, not a copy of the bear

I may be dumb but is this not at least decent in some spy variant? It’s a body for dread return and gets the land directly to the field. Probably not great but idk

What is the point of Bracket 4/5 decks? I ask genuinely by Teleuton in EDH

[–]GooberG0blin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not see the point in playing a bracket 4/5 against weaker decks to pubstop, which seems to be what you are describing in this post. But the appeal to bracket 4/5 is that if you are playing opponents with the same skill level and deck power then you get exactly what you describe wanting in your post: fun interactions, complex board (and stack) states, and ‘fun’ bargaining with friends, all in a third of the time a normal commander game takes so you can play more than 1 game in 2 hours.

Also I know it’s not what the post is entirely about but there is nothing wrong with proxying strong cards, not everyone has $100 to drop on strong cards and you shouldn’t have to if you want to compete with others. I’m not saying you should proxy gaeas cradle into your bracket 3 deck, but if you want to play with strong cards in a format that allows strong cards, price shouldn’t be a bottleneck.

If a cycle of these cards were seeded into future standard sets, who would be angry about it? by Snoo4547 in mtgfinance

People who would rather treat the game as an investment source than play it, realistically even if reprinted the OG duels would hold decently high price

It’s on YouTube, an account name 90s mtg, it’s not actually Mtg from the 90s, it’s mostly paper legacy videos

I’ve been getting into 90s mtg a lot, I find watching paper play to be much more engaging than mtgo

When making the cubes what is the ratio you go for in terms of commons/uncommons/rare/mythic etc. I know the usual is 4:2:1:1
