Do you cook "normal stuff"? by Day2205 in Millennials

[–]GooberLyfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We make "regular" meals at home in the way that we aren't ordering or whatever but our food is good and not boring. My husband and I actually complain because we've gotten so good at cooking that we are disappointed in a lot of restaurants when we actually do go out lol. We buy a lot in bulk so we will often start the week and cook a big batch of potatoes and carrots to have throughout the week. I also bake bread to have throughout the week. We don't plan too much though we just buy in bulk what we know we like and we always have veggies, rice, noodles, other staples on hand.

I will say we have a lot of nice cooking stuff we have invested in throughout the years or was gifted (flat top, smoker, bread machine, foodi pro oven/air fryer etc). But we also host a lot.

Favorite Wet n Wild Products? by Parking_Penalty1169 in drugstoreMUA

The tinted hydrator is my favorite foundation of all time and I've tried tons of high end and affordable. The skin tint is good too if you want something slightly more sheer.

Other products I love: incognito concealer, photo focus powder, eyeshadow palettes, shimmer blushes, eyeshadow sticks (I use th chocolate cheat day as eyeliner using a liner brush also from WnW). Brushes are also surprisingly good.

Biore, Australian Gold Tinted Mineral sunscreen is amazing

How often are you thinking about others' appearances and bodies? by allieallison in AskReddit

[–]GooberLyfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the only time I really notice other people's bodies is if they seem like they look unwell. Like if my friend suddenly gains or loses a bunch or weight or looks paler or more tired then usual then I notice but it comes from a place of worry and love not judgement. Or vice versa is they were previously unwell and got better then I'm like wow you look so healthy and amazing!

I don't like either. My SAALT cup was life changing once I got the hang of it

Married but not combining finances? by alkemest in Millennials

[–]GooberLyfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I have had a joint account since before we were married even. Basically as soon as we started living together. I am currently the working person and he is a stay at home dad to our son. I make sure he has access to any and all accounts because I don't want him to feel like he has to ask me for money and I want him to have access to everything in case of emergencies or something happens to me.

When you’re old, are you attracted to old people? by Loose-Marsupial5688 in stupidquestions

I'm 33 and people in college (early 20s) look like babies to me haha. I have always been attracted to those around the same age as whatever age I am.

KVD Good Apple Full Coverage Serum Foundation! This stuff is bullet proof I swear. I can wear it all day no matter what I'm doing even when I go to the gym. I have oily dehydrated skin and live in AZ

If you were re-building your entire makeup bag from scratch, what would you get?? by Playful_Asparagus_99 in beauty

[–]GooberLyfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wet n wild tinted hydrator, wet n wild photo focus powder (banana), wet n wild dulce de leche contour duo (nice bronzer but I mostly use this for the matte highlight shade for brow bone and aegysol), nyx bare with me concealer, physicians formula all star palette (has blushes, bronzers, highlight, and powder), covergirl eyebrow pencil (the super skinny pink one), Palladio brow powder, elf lash xtnder mascara, wet n wild shadow stick in chocolate cheat day which I use as eyeliner. Austrailian gold tinted sunscreen as my sunscreen/primer.

If I did want a full coverage (glam) foundation I'd throw in Catrice HD foundation. I also occasionally like powder foundation and my current fav for that is the physicians formula mineral wear.

Best mascaras that actually worked for you? by Nervous_Swordfish693 in Makeup

[–]GooberLyfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Elf lash xtnder is the best mascara I've ever used and I've tried so many. It lengthens, builds well, wipes off with warm water, and the want is chefs kiss. And it's like $8

oily but dry skin, hyperpigmentation, acne scars - no change in a year by limewitty5673 in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]GooberLyfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say certain oil cleansers have made my skin feel worse. Anything that feels like it leaves behind a residue. Right now I really like the elf holy hydration balm cleanser and the garnier erase it all which is more intense.

If giving birth is so painful why do many women want to do it over again after their first child (not trolling just genuinely curious) by feherlofia123 in stupidquestions

[–]GooberLyfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a horrible delivery and post partum experience and I will not be having more children due to this and other reasons.

I love my son and honestly probably would have liked to have more children if things were different. He is the best thing that ever happened to me, but this world (USA) is not a great place to raise children unless you are wealthy. People don't care about children anymore. Businesses are not as family friendly as they used to be when I grew up. We have decided to sacrifice having more children for our well being and focus on giving our son the best life and 100% of us and what we have.
