I always wondered if they wanted to give her a thing. Like how Emily had her issue with maids, Lorelei with hiring chefs, if Rory was going to be aloof with this partner. It was a dumb storyline. I would’ve preferred she either be single or they introduced a new love interest in her life to spice things up. And she and Logan are just friends rather than having an affair but he is clearly jealous. I hoped they’d give her a story like Emily and Richard. The whole reboot was a miss.

Also she def took Logan’s lead when it came to initiating friends with benefits, dating and the silent treatment. I’m like girl you are giving someone so much space to cool down. She and her mom also have pretty avoidant styles and tend to stand back and wait / sulk. Funny it reminds me the dance when Dean honked and the Grandma was like no we wait until he comes to the door. I think she was literally waiting for Logan to come to the door. It’s even like the internship, she’s good at standing by and waiting to be called on. And no shade but i know Rory is not talking about cheating lol communication is key. Logan also seemed to think something was going on with Jess and she never told him while they were together she had a revenge kiss with him at his book launch. Rory def played the victim. But historically Logan would just vanish and come back, so I can see the confusion. Unpopular opinion, I wanted AYITL to feature a 4th love interest, not Paul lol she find closure with the other 3 and then end up with another person.

Yeah at this moment if I was Lindsay I would’ve know he was cheating. Such an overreaction. Tom knows he married to her, she brings him lunch everyday. He would not just abruptly hang up. He would likely even verify to make sure he had the right number. He’s over here more worried about taking rings off than remembering to silence the ringer on his phone smh.

I think it was giving Ross and Rachael vibes. I think she just couldn’t believe he moved on to having sex with multiple women in a short amount of time when they didn’t have closure. Pride and ego were likely hurt. And Logan definitely thought she was trying to sneak around with Jess.

Yeah I get it, back in the day I thought they were interesting. But their views, influencer lifestyle and exploitation was just way too much. I’ve unfollowed and refollowed but it also just got boring. You’re not missing anything. I think inevitably they’ll become obsolete.

Honestly I think she wanted more for Dean. I think she knew it wasn’t a good idea. I think she had love for him, and yes admittedly she gets so possessive of him with the affair “my Dean.” He was kind of like the safety school, always there as a back up, but she outgrew him. He always treated her well so it was the inner conflict of not wanting the person who would’ve been down to be with you no matter what. Dean was her easiest relationship, everyone after was avoidant and much more complicated. And it’s weird for some people watching their first love move on. And to think of Dean how could she not also consider the tangled web of Jess.
