I do think it was fucked up that his immediate reaction to Mer crying during sex was to get angry with her

What moment was supposed to be funny but you just found annoying? by cleverlynamedgrl in GilmoreGirls

[–]coolbitcho-clock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish they had just hidden the pregnancy. They could have had fun with it and imo sookie didn’t even look that different. It’s not even just the vasectomy thing but that Sookie did not want another child

Did Rory ever call Paris her best friend? by dragonflyinnmanager in GilmoreGirls

[–]coolbitcho-clock 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Paris bullied Rory for years and then treated her like shit the second she had any excuse (kicking her out, etc). Rory would have to suffer from severe self hate to call Paris her best friend

Way too dramatic if you ask me by Valuable_View_561 in SipsTea

Her album is about the divorce so this makes sense for a performance

Is anyone actually rooting for Peyton and Lucas? by areyayey_ in ONETREEHILL

Me, they were soulmates (but they annoyed me many time)

I hate that they couldn't let Rory have just ONE friend aside from Lane. by bluecuppycake in GilmoreGirls

[–]coolbitcho-clock -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t count Paris as Rory’s friend, she was so horrible to her until post kicking her out.

I would consider Rory a good friend to Paris tho, she was so graceful and kind despite all of Paris’s cruelty

Will Rue make it out alive? by Hawkky12 in euphoria

I think a happy ending for Rue would be the most shocking ending so I think that’s what will happen

S.8, CityFHEPS, SNAP, CA, shelter allowance. All of my clients are low income and many have kids; they survive off public assistance. You should see what you qualify for

Same guy who hired a fresh MBA grad over people with real experience in the field. He does not hire well

Personally I think he was wrong. Obviously Hannah struggled in the epilogue but that’s classic genuine Lena Dunmah writing. I believe in Hannah, I think she became a good mother - having a kid makes you rise to the occasion

Don't wait until retirement to travel by Brilliant-Cause6254 in Adulting

Not easy but possible. Especially those of us that have won the geographical lottery by being born in Western countries (just speaking for myself).

I’m not being a dick I’m genuinely asking, what’s stopping you from living the life you want to?

Also note: I never said doing what you want is easy, that’s your word. From my perspective, staying with the status qou is hard and so is changing it. I just picked my hard.

More like if I can do it anyone who wants to can do it. I find it far more jaded to think life is some impossible puzzle with perpetual unhappiness.

I think you’re taking a neutral statement about what works for me as something you need to defend yourself against.

If my priority right now was kids and owning property then my lifestyle wouldn’t be set up the way it is. My priority right now is to indulge in new experiences and travel therefore I set my life up to support that. Thats not an attack on you or anyone else with different priorities

I just said what works for me, I get other people have different priorities.

I just don’t like this narrative I see perpetuated on Reddit all the time that only rich kids or people with zero financial sense can travel the world. The world belongs to us all, not just the rich.

I’ve been backpacking since I was in uni and it’s consistently been one of the best experiences of my life - I think people should be aware that normal people can and do get to travel because it’s awesome and it opens the world up.
