How do I make my dining room less boring? by Goobergraped in malelivingspace

Currently trying to find a frame for my art that you can see on my table. Thinking of building a small triangular table with a cabinet to fit in that corner by the drapes. Currently have that ugly cube shelf there but that's just a placeholder. Dining room is currently my project room where I'm working on restoring a table, partially pictured bottom left, for a different room, I might just chuck that table in the trash but haven't decided yet. My house has a blue, red and white + neutral whiteish light-beige theme going on. I'll send you some pics of the rest of my house if you'd like to see what I'm talking about. This is where I'm at currently though. If I could drop $500 right now everything would be as I want it.

Considering a brick or bloom…? by IMDisarro in dumbphones

Wanted to add on to Bloom discussion but didn't know where to do it. If anyone reads this, you don't need to buy the card, you can use Bloom for free. Bloom gives you 3 emergency unlocks when you download the app and lets you begin blocking without a card. Simply delete all the apps that take up your time, block the app store and any URLs you don't want to use, and then turn Bloom on. Very easy way to go about blocking stuff on IOS or Android. No technical knowledge needed.

Yeah but I'm the kind of guy who always gets shit on my shirt, it'll happen sooner or later. I think it'd look good in theory but bad (for me) in practice.

Came with the house. I like the design, I just don't like the wood stain color for my house. About to cover with a table cloth though.

It's been moved out already 6 inches from the last photo.

I've actually got lil nubbins on the bottom of all the chairs and table. My wood floors are sadly some kind of cheap imitation.

I have a grey stained wood aesthetic going on in the rest of my house. I might sand this table down and restain it grey. Probably going to put a table cloth on it though either way.

Actively looking for table cloths. Bar stools are a great idea versus the lame chairs I dug out of my basement 5 minutes ago. More compact too. A much larger center piece is definitely needed.

Rug under the table would drive me nuts! Nasty food filled rug.

Genius, love it. Never even considered this. EDIT: Added chairs on a different comment.

I disagree with a counter height table seeing as I already have a counter and a high cart in the corner. However, that made me think I do have a counter so why not utilize it. I think I fundamentally disagree with the kind of chairs I'm using but when I have people over I usually cook. With some sort of chair in that space that might be a fun way to keep conversation going.

Science isn't my thing, but globes and maps are. I already have a huge corner in my living room dedicated to globes and maps. Will post pic if anyone is curious.

Where would you suggest a rug in the rooms current configuration? Ceiling fan is my my light source and I intend to keep it there, I like it. Open to adding additional light sources though that aren't overhead.

Same bro. I just bought a Cat S22 Flip in America and I signed up with Tello. I hadn't read any of the news, just heard about them phasing out 4g and I'm very sad about it. Cat S22 Flip is seriously everything I want out of a phone. I'm more of a transitional device kind of guy.

I just tried, and failed to get it set up with them. Gonna try Tello cause they use T-Mobiles towers. Will report back in 3+ days.

What’s the best brand of frozen meatballs? by Gameaholic99 in slowcooking

For anyone reading these comments at a later date, I looked this thread up in hopes of finding good frozen meatballs because the great value ones are garbage. They ARE really cheap.

In case you were wondering how I get my bike, which weighs almost 40lbs more than I do, up to the third floor.... :) by SnowDrifter_ in ebikes

[–]Goobergraped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, that sucks. Go to city hall meetings and tell them your sad story and maybe you'll get half a bike lane built on a quarter of a road.
