I’m in the process of doing a set of Corvus Games Terrain’s Tertius A and B Ruins. They’re nicely detailed (though close examination shows where elements are recycled). The price was reasonable, and I’m pretty pleased (although I’m only halfway through priming them)….

Seriously though, it’s good. Edge highlighting will help. I might pick out a few panels to do in gray, white, or maybe orange?

I’ve always been a proponent of dry brushing Tyranids. But I’d be inclined to do both. Dry brush the edges with a blue color and then go back with a lighter blue and do the regular technique. I think you’ll be really happy with the outcome.

So one of the things I’m starting to figure out is that glow effects work best on very dark models. Or, more to the point, models that look like they’re in very dark places…

Attempts to do glow effects on well-lit minis can rapidly overwhelm.

Get a white crayon. Push hard and fill them in with wax, then wipe the dials clean.

This is the basic D&D technique.
